Dear Athletes and Families, Congratulations on being selected to
Dear Athletes and Families, Congratulations on being selected to participate in USA Football’s 2016 National Development Games being hosted at University of California, Davis from Tuesday, July 5, through Saturday, July 9. As we prepare for the 2016 Development Games, this will serve as your confirmation packet, providing you and your family with information to properly prepare for the week. Please read the entire packet carefully before contacting USA Football with questions. If you have questions after reading the entire packet, contact Cristina Taggart at [email protected] or 609-642-9517. The U.S. National Development Games are not considered an all-star event by the NCAA or National Federation of State High School Associations. As the national governing body of the sport, USA Football events are part of the official U.S. National Team program. However, it is each athlete’s responsibility to ensure that he is compliance with his own state association’s rules and regulations. U.S. National Team participants are selected based on talent and character. Over the course of the event, each athlete will compete in a jamboree and a live-contact modified game. Players will also be educated in USA Football’s comprehensive player health and safety program, Heads Up Football. We look forward to hosting a great week of football with you and wish you great success in all your football endeavors.
