GRAMMY
WINNER
In 2015, the STL Symphony received the Best Orchestral Performance Grammy for
its recording of John Adams’ City Noir and his Saxophone Concerto. It was a proud
moment we shared with all of St. Louis and the world. Without our loyal audiences,
the music doesn’t happen. Without you, Grammy Awards aren’t received, nor would
their acceptance matter. The STL Symphony is your orchestra. Wherever we go, we
represent you in ways that reveal the best of St. Louis to everyone we meet. Thank
you to our loyal subscribers who share in this spectacular accomplishment.
BEETHOVEN
PIANO
CONCERTOS
Building upon those before him, Beethoven dramatically transformed and expanded
the piano concerto through his five monumental works culminating with the
“Emperor.” These remain adored by audiences for their stunning melodies and
triumphant orchestrations. Don’t miss this opportunity to hear all five concertos
unfold by the mightiest of composers with the STL Symphony and pianists from
around the globe.
