TRADEWIND AVIATION LAUNCHES NEW ROUTES TO BOSTON, MA AND
STOWE, VT FROM WESTCHESTER COUNTY AIRPORT
Available in October & Mid-December, New Shuttle Service Routes Offer the Comfort &
Convenience of a Private Charter for the Cost of a Single Seat; Rates Start at $295
September 15, 2015 (Oxford, Connecticut) - Tradewind Aviation, operators of both ondemand private charter and scheduled shuttle service throughout the U.S. and Caribbean,
will now offer scheduled shuttle service from Westchester County Airport in New York to
Boston Logan Airport and Morrisville-Stowe State Airport in Vermont. These new routes
are the first of their kind to these destinations and will offer the comfort and
convenience of a private charter for the cost of a single seat. All fares on the eight-seat
aircraft are unrestricted and can be interchanged among friends and family. Specific
details on the fall and winter debuts are as follows:

Westchester - Boston, MA Launch: The first flight is scheduled to depart the
Westchester County Airport in White Plains, New York on Monday, October 5 at
6:00 a.m. arriving at Boston's Logan Airport at 6:55 a.m. The year-round service
will continue with eight flights per day, five days per week (Monday-Friday), with
availability increasing along with demand. The new route will be a convenient
alternative to driving, trains and commercial carriers that until now were the only
transportation options available to business and leisure travelers between these
destinations. With school back in session, this is also perfect timing for university
faculty, students and family to take advantage of the new route. Rates start at
$395 plus tax per one-way flight and $295 when purchased in a commuter ticket
book.

Westchester - Stowe, VT Launch: Following the re-opening of Stowe's MorrisvilleStowe State Airport last year as part of a $27 million renovation program by Stowe
Aviation, Tradewind's new route will be the first and only direct flight to this
wildly popular ski destination. Travelers visiting from the New York metro area
typically must succumb to a commercial flight to Burlington, VT followed by a 45minute drive, so this direct one-hour flight gives skiers more time to hit the slopes.
The new route will begin in mid-December, with flights departing Westchester on
Friday afternoons at 3:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. and from Stowe on Sundays at 3:00
p.m. and 6:30 p.m. Stowe residents traveling to the New York area for the
weekend will have access to flights from Stowe to Westchester on Friday
afternoons and to Stowe from Westchester on Sunday afternoons. Rates start at
$350 plus tax per one-way flight and $250 when purchased in a commuter ticket
book.
"We are excited to expand our offerings with the only regularly scheduled service from
Westchester to Boston and Stowe and anticipate these routes will grow in demand as
more and more passengers discover the convenience and benefits of Tradewind's
scheduled shuttle service. Whether for business or vacation travel, the new routes will
provide an unparalleled level of service, convenience and comfort to these popular East
Coast destinations." said Eric Zipkin, President of Tradewind Aviation.
As with all Tradewind Aviation flights, the new routes will offer the luxury and ease of a
private charter, with no TSA security checkpoints at the airport, private gate entrance,
exclusive FBO lounges, complimentary on-board snacks, drinks and checked baggage
rolled into the cost of a single seat. Guests on Westchester/Stowe flights are invited to
travel with ski equipment at no extra charge.
Launched in 2001 by brothers Eric and David Zipkin, Tradewind Aviation has led by the
premise that every flight - and every passenger - deserves the highest quality aircraft,
crew and service. The airline operates scheduled service from Westchester County Airport
to Martha's Vineyard, Nantucket and now Boston and Stowe. It also flies throughout the
Caribbean from San Juan, Puerto Rico to destinations including St. Barths, Anguilla, Nevis,
Antigua and St. Thomas. In addition to regularly scheduled shuttle service, Tradewind
Aviation operates on-demand charter service to virtually anywhere in the world.
Whatever the route, Tradewind Aviation maintains a strict policy of two pilots on every
plane, underpinning its assurance that every flight receives the highest quality aircraft,
crew and service.
