Façade siding
For the façade of the parking garage steel perforated
plates are pressed in a mould using the technology
used in the automotive industry (thermoforming
technique). The perforation (40%) in the plates provides
natural ventilation and light transmittance. Because
of the green light used in the parking garage and the
transparent façade it provides an exceptional image.
The figuration of the panels is inspired by the images
which are characteristic for Almere like fringe of reeds,
birds, garden gnomes and wind mills.
Greenness supply
Situated on the façade flower boxes are carefully arranged. These are hung between the panels on the floor
edges. On each façade there is a specific tree species
planted which will grow optimal with the orientation of
that part of the façade.
