Warehouse Facilities
SBLM Architects works closely with retailers and commercial
clients to create state-of-the-art warehouse facilities to enhance
their operations.
SBLM’s expertise also involves the design of supporting offices
into the high volume industrial spaces. SBLM also coordinates
integral building systems including mechanical, electrical,
plumbing, sprinklers and fire alarms.
Our projects include a LEED Certified facility for Office Depot.
The project included various energy and water reduction
systems, recycled material construction, and a comprehensive
recycling program for operational waste.

Office Depot Warehouse, Newville, PA
SBLM and construction partner dbRight completed this LEED Certified
600,000-square-feet cross-dock distribution center in two phases,
featuring a Kiva robotic system that automates the process of fulfilling
the orders.

Petco Distribution Center, Cranbury, NJ
SBLM completed this 700,000-square-feet warehouse.
The project features multi-pick towers, battery charging
stations, sorting conveyor systems, and numerous
loading docks and support spaces.

Wiley Publishing Warehouse, Somerset, NJ
SBLM designed a 130,000 sf warehouse expansion
for a publishing distributor. The project contained 19
new loading docks, multiple new parking spaces, and
HVAC systems on the roof.

Philips Electronics Warehouse Ledgewood, NJ
SBLM designed a 400,000 sf warehouse and
distribution center expansion of an operating assembly
plant on a complex and environmentally sensitive site.
Extensive EIS due diligence and wetlands approvals
were significant factors in this unique design solution.
The building’s exterior will be sheathed with insulated
panels, which are covered materials that will help
blend into the extensive perimeter elevation.
