•
Before you start painting, take a moment and number each drawer. It makes it so much easier when you’re working to have
them pre-numbered so you can place them back in the correct space.
•
Prime the drawer fronts and the tree frame with the white paint. Let dry.
•
Carefully remove all 24 sheets of 6x6 paper from the pad. Cut 24 ½ inch strips from the tops of each of the papers. You will
use them for the top of each of the drawers. Cut in to the hole from the edge of each strip, this will allow you to place it easily
around the knobs on each of the drawers.
•
Using Mod Podge, adhere one strip to each of the drawers. Trim off excess.
•
Cut 24 inch strips for the lower half of each of the drawers. Adhere with Mod Podge and trim away excess.
•
Cut 22 one inch strips for loops on the size of the tree. Cut each strip in half if desired. Glue loops in place starting at the
bottom of the tree and working up to the top.
•
Working with one drawer at a time, use “Season’s Greetings” embellishments and trim to decorate each drawer. Number
each drawer. Here’s a handy hint for embellishing the drawers with “Season’s Greetings” Decorative Brads: using a craft drill
and the smallest bit, drill a small hole in the desired location on the drawer front. Insert the brad “legs” and bend into position.
•
Create custom epoxy stickers using the Epiphany Crafts Shape Studio tool and the “Season’s Greetings” papers.
•
When the drawers are complete and the tree is fully assembled, lightly mist with the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist for a lovely
sparkly finish.
•
Fill the drawers with small treats, scriptures, or activity prompts to count down the days until Christmas with your family.
•
Place a small ornament in the apex of your tree. A fun alternative would be to insert a small photo of your children.
Hope you’ve enjoyed this project!
Wishing Merry Christmas to all, and a Happy New Year!
