Enjoy tastings of craft Bay area beer, spirits, and wine. Join us at the Straz Center for the Performing Arts Downtown Tampa on the Riverwalk to benefit The Sustany Foundation. GENERAL ADMISSION ADVANCE TICKETS $40 per person . $70 per couple . $45 per person at door VIP ADVANCE TICKETS $150 per person . $250 per couple The Sustainable Buzz Vendor Packet The Sustany Foundation promotes sustainability in Tampa Bay. Every year Sustany hosts the Sustainable Buzz, a unique event that celebrates Tampa Bay’s progress towards sustainable living while showcasing the many businesses that help make this happen. The Buzz brings local restaurants, farms, breweries, and music to a beautiful outdoor setting: the Riverwalk at the Straz Center. The Buzz helps foster a sustainable community by connecting sponsors and vendors with residents while increasing awareness and support for the Sustany Foundation. “The Buzz is truly one-of-akind here in Tampa.” Record of Success- 7th Annual Sustainable Buzz in 2014 Testimonials: “The Sustainable Buzz was a great opportunity to showcase Anise to potential new customers. Think Global.” -Chris Barrs, President, Special Hoperations As a vendor, you can: • Access an exciting, growing event. In 2013 we doubled attendance over 2012 with 700 attendees. We anticipate 1000 people in 2014. • Get media coverage. Logos of all Buzz vendors are included on the Sustany website and in social media posts. In 2013, the Buzz was covered by The Tampa Tribune, Fox13 News, and WFLA News Channel 8. Online coverage: 83 Degrees, Going Green Tampa, Tampa Downtown Partnership, LocalShops1, and food blogs. Additional social media exposure came from Sustany, volunteers, and 43 food/beverage vendors. • Connect with the community. The Buzz attracts a diverse group, from young professionals and students to established residents across Tampa Bay. As a food, craft beer, and wine festival, the Buzz draws attendees who seek unique dining experiences and are interested in local food production. • Foster sustainability in Tampa Bay. Founded in 2007, the Sustany Foundation promotes sustainability through programs that advance economic prosperity, environmental stewardship, and social responsibility. We coordinate the Sustainable Business Program and City of Tampa’s Green Business Designation. The Foundation offers mini-grants and connects volunteers to local sustainably-oriented projects. Learn more at Sustany.org. 2014 Sustainable Buzz Vendor Guidelines ALL Partners You will receive 2 complimentary Sustainable Buzz general admission tickets. Please plan on being set up NO LATER than 4:45pm. The Sustany Foundation will provide some fresh produce if requested (must be notified by October 1, 2014). The Sustany Foundation will provide tables, linens, and specialty signage. You are welcome to bring additional signage, a table skirt and/or additional materials to promote your business. Please provide a digital file (.jpg) with your logo for promotional materials. Your logo will appear on The Sustany Foundation website, blog, and all social media outlets. We are anticipating 40-50 vendors and 1000 guests. Please plan food/beverage quantities accordingly. This event is a food/beverage tasting. We will need to know the item(s) that you will provide by Friday, October 10. All vendors will need to sign/return the Straz’s food waiver prior to Friday, October 10. Food Partners Please bring a dish that requires minimal on-site preparation. Serving sizes for this event are small, sample-sized portions. Power is available but limited; avoid electrical appliances when possible. If power is required, please notify Sustany as soon as possible. Beer & Wine Partners Please bring no less than five cases of wine. Please provide sample sized pours (4oz or less). Sustany will provide a glass for each guest. Please provide pitchers of water for rinsing glasses. Sustany will provide ice. Please indicate if you will need ice and how much. Please provide buckets for chilled wine and discarded wine. Colored wristbands will be issued to guests who are of drinking age. Please do not serve those without wristbands. They are not of legal drinking age.
