Meprolight was the first to build a reflex sight for

CHOOSING OPTICS
Next to the weapon itself, the sighting system is
the most important part of the weapon system.
The effectiveness of the shooter centers around his
ability to quickly and effectively place bullets in the
target. A quality optic is required. Here are some

With its MIL-STD design, the battle proven
MEPRO RDS PRO is an outstanding allpurpose reflex sight that performs under
the harshest conditions!
Compact, energy efficient design, the TRU-DOT
RDS provides thousands of operating hours with a
single AA battery. With its large display window and
clearly defined red dot the TRU-DOT RDS ensures
rapid target acquisition with both eyes open. The
sight features battle proven LED technology and
four easily switchable brightness intensities for
every tactical scenario.
The MEPRO RDS PRO is an energy-efficient,
compact sight that provides thousands of operating
hours while utilizing a single “AA” battery. With
battle-proven LED technology and a rugged MIL-STD
design, performs under the harshest conditions. A
large display window and clearly defined red-dot
ensures rapid target acquisition with both eyes
open and four easily switchable reticle brightness

operations and long-range target engagement the
RDS PRO is compatible with GEN II and GEN III

SIMPLICITY

Day Scope with 4x Magnifier
The M21 Reflex sight provides constant, all-light
aiming capability, without batteries. Designed
through close collaboration with Israeli Special
Forces, the M21 was the first reflex sight in the
world designed for close quarter combat. It is
battle proven, reflexive to use, deadly accurate
and totally reliable. The M21’s large 30mm
diameter lens allows rapid target acquisition with
both eyes open. Reticle illumination is achieved
by a protected fiber optic light collector system
during the day and by a self-powered tritium
light source at night. Transition between the
two systems is instantaneous and automatic to
assure good contrast between the aiming dot
and the target area. The M21 is night vision
compatible. This sight gives shooters the ability
to acquire targets accurately at any range, in any
situation. It is compatible with magnifiers.
The M21 has long been the standard issue optic

Tri-Powered Reflex Sight with
Visible and IR Laser Designators
The only all-in-one electro-optical sight available
today! Two integrated lasers (5mW visible laser
and an IR laser). Combining two laser sights into
a single lightweight and rugged integrated sight
eliminates the need to purchase separate laser
and IR designators and frees rail space.
Three integrated reticle illumination systems (fiber
optic collector system during the day, self-powered
tritium light source at night and a 3-position LED
enhancer for difficult ambient light conditions). This
ensures you NEVER lose your reticle! Unlike other
sights that lose their reticles when the batteries
are low or dead, the Mepro MOR continues to
operate!
A unique single boresight mechanism allows you
to zero all aiming devices simultaneously (the sight
reticle and the laser pointers), saving time and

40mm Grenade Launcher
The Mepro MX3 provides a decisive operational
solution for any soldier in the field, as well as
for designated marksmen. Its 3x magnification
enhances the precision and effectiveness of reflex
sights such as the Mepro 21 and the Mepro MOR.
Manufactured to the highest military standards to
assure years of reliable operation under all field
conditions, the MX3 extends effective ranges with
no need to re-zero sights.
The MX3 attaches to a standard MIL-STD-1913
Picatinny rail or to a dedicated Tavor mount behind
a reflex sight with a quick release mount. Compact,
lightweight and rugged. Does not require zeroing.

The Need: Grenade launchers have been in service
with armies around the world for decades. However,
experience has shown that even after extensive
training, achieving reasonable accuracy with the
leaf sight supplied with the weapon is a far shot.
Soldiers need a reliable sight in order to determine
the elevation to the target and to maximize first
round hit probability.
The Solution: Meprolight solved the aiming limitation
by developing the first optical reflex sight for 40mm
grenade launchers. The MEPRO GLS sight functions
under all lighting and weather conditions, and offers
soldiers the ability to accurately aim and hit targets
with both eyes open.
The dual self-illuminated optical sight is a
technological breakthrough. The compact unit
mounts onto the Picatinny top rail – on its own or
behind the MEPRO M21 Reflex Sight – and can also
be mounted onto a side adapter (9 o’clock). It is
adjustable for both windage and elevation. During
the day, a light collector tube concentrates available
ambient light into a dot and projects it onto the
sight lens. At night, a small tritium light source
supplies the light for the dot.

The MEPRO STING is a state-of-the-art dual
wavelength laser pointer designed to support
various tactical scenarios including close quarters
battle (CQB) and covert night operations. The
pointer emits a visible or IR laser beam, projecting
an aiming dot on the target.
The MEPRO STING provides shooting capabilities
without the need to look through the rifle’s sight:
enabling rapid and instinctive target engagement.
Switching between visible and IR modes is easily
controlled by the shooter. The MEPRO STING is
uniquely equipped with Picatinny adaptor, which can
be easily used on right or left side of the weapon,
per user’s need. Designed and fabricated to the

Self-illuminated pistol night sights were a
Meprolight innovation. Since developing the first
tritium-illuminated pistol night sights, Meprolight
has remained the leader in night sight technology.
BRIGHTEST NIGHT SIGHTS
Meprolight Night Sights are the brightest in
the world. Their proprietary process of handling
and installing tritium light sources results in the
purest and brightest tritium-powered night sights.
Meprolight’s precision night sight lenses are
installed perfectly aligned and the ideal distance
from the tritium tubes. Their self-illuminating
sights are 20% brighter than the nearest
competitor’s sights.
DURABILITY
Meprolight’s methods of handling the tritium light
sources result in the lowest failure rate. Meprolight
uses a unique combination of adhesives that resists
damage from heat and solvents. Exposure to gun
oil will not cause Meprolight tritium tubes to fall
out of the sights.
FITTING
Different manufacturers use different dovetails
and sometimes change dovetails. Please see our
website for the latest fitting information. If you have
a pistol that is not listed, a good place to start is
by contacting the manufacturer and asking what
dovetail they use. Many manufacturers use dovetails
that match those used by larger manufacturers in
order to source sights more easily.
Please be sure that you are familiar with install
methods, or have the installation performed by a
competent gunsmith.

The FRBS are tritium-enhanced front and
rear back-up sights designed to provide the
shooter secondary sights in case the primary
optics go down.
FRBS sights are advanced, low-profile,
durable, tritium-enhanced auxiliary front
and rear back-up sights. The sights quickly
fold up or down depending on the shooters
needs. Sight pin elevation is easily and quickly
adjusted without tools. FRBS sights are
readily mounted on any 1913 Picatinny rail.

Rapid target acquisition is a critical
component of defensive shooting. Designed
by two highly experienced U.S. Special Forces
veterans, the R4E Optimized Duty Sights
have five elements for sight alignment-three
vertical features and two horizontal lines
which produces a reticle type sight picture
that improves target acquisition time. Tritium
enhanced lines on the rear sight help improve
target acquisition in low light conditions. This
design provides the ability to swiftly line your
sights up on the target, which is vital to any
shooter, especially to law enforcement and
defensive shooters.
The FT Family sights are fiber optic and

Meprolight AR front sights are a two-piece system
that allows the sight to be zeroed precisely. Once
zeroed, the tritium dot can be rotated to face the
shooter without affecting zero.
Other brands require a full turn to keep the dot
facing toward the shooter, resulting in an imprecise
zero, or a half-turn, resulting in an imprecise zero
and a glowing dot facing forward as well as toward

Base stock choice on the weapon’s
purpose.
COLLAPSIBLE STOCKS
Ideal for compact fighting carbines, collapsible
stocks are an advantage on any weapon’s system
when body armor or thick clothing is worn. For
CQB fighting, a collapsible stock makes a carbine
compact and well balanced.
PRECISION STOCKS
Precision stocks for M16/AR-15 pattern rifles
should have a longer length of pull for proper
eye relief. They should be simple with just a few
important features, like an adjustable cheekpiece
or a monopod.
CHEEKPIECES
Cheekpieces are often necessary when using
optics on weapons such as AK rifles or shotguns
that were designed for a proper cheekweld with
iron sights. Cheekpieces give the needed height
for a precise cheekweld. Generally, they are not
needed for flat-top M4/AR-15 rifles.

RECOIL COMPENSATION
Recoil compensation helps tame the recoil on
heavier caliber rifles and on shotguns, while
also reducing movement of the weapon and
muzzle rise with any caliber.
BALANCE
The weight of the stock is an important factor
in adjusting the overall balance of the weapon.
Rifles with longer or heavier barrels can benefit
from a heavier stock. Weight can be added to a
stock to improve balance.

affected by pressure on the handguards. Freefloating the barrel solves this problem. If you
will be taking intermediate to long-range shots
in which precision is vital, consider a free-float
rail system, such as the VFR. For most CQB and
general combat purposes, a non-free float rail
system works fine.

WHAT DO I REALLY NEED IN A GRIP?
So many grips on the market are now loaded with
features, but are they all necessary? What should
you look for in a grip?
SIMPLE DESIGN
Grips should be simple and functional, designed
to work well for most shooters. Sometimes the
simplest looking grips reflect the most careful
engineering. FAB grips, designed in cooperation
with the Israeli military, are well suited for almost
all shooters, regardless of hand size and other
factors.
GRIP ANGLE
The grip angle must allow a precise trigger pull and
reduce wrist fatigue.
CONTROL AND RETENTION
Most grips work fine when firing, but there are
many times when the weapon must be held with
only one hand. Reloading, malfunctions, dealing
with bystanders or controlling a threat – all of
these situations involve holding a weapon only by
the grip, often while moving quickly or manipulating
the action. FAB grips are designed with this in
mind. Students in our carbine courses often replace
their various grips with FAB’s once they experience
realistic manipulation of their weapons. Our grips
may look simple compared to others, but the
difference felt in the hand is striking.

Foregrips offer a more natural hold on a weapon,
resulting in less fatigue and the ability to fight longer.
They place the hand in the same position every time,
locking the shooter into a consistent stance. They
give some shooters better control and faster, more
positive movement of the weapon.
FOREGRIP DISADVANTAGES
Foregrips also add some weight to the weapon system.
They can prevent the handguard from being placed
close to an object on which the weapon is being rested.
On certain firearms, such as AK rifles, the wrong
foregrip may interfere with magazine changes.

WHAT IS RIGHT FOR ME?
This is a question shooters must answer for
themselves. We have seen two highly-trained
soldiers from the same special ops unit with different
preferences on running a foregrip. Don’t let someone
else tell you that you are right or wrong in your choice
to use a foregrip or not.
WHAT TYPE OF FOREGRIP IS BEST?
This depends on personal preference, the type of
weapon and the purpose of the weapon. Choose a
foregrip that is suited for the weapon and that fits
your preferences in size, angle and shape.
CAN I GET STABILITY WITH A FOREGRIP?
Of course, but the key is in how it is used. We recommend a foregrip that is forward on the rail with the
hand high on the foregrip and the thumb on the side of
the handguard, not wrapped around the foregrip. Grips
such as our FGG-S really lock the hand in place and
several grips are angled or can be angled for the most
comfortable, stable position for a particular shooter.

SHOOTING WITH A BIPOD
As both military and civilian weapons become
more modular, many shooters are using bipods
for the first time. This has led to confusion for new
bipod users and complaints about bipod design
from inexperienced users. Most skilled precision
shooters don’t hold a foregrip or handguard
when shooting from a bipod, usually holding the
stock with the support hand or occasionally one
of the bipod feet. If you are learning precision
shooting techniques, we recommend contacting
an experienced precision shooter for advice.
FOREGRIP BIPODS
Foregrip bipods are designed for CQB fighting.
Unlike other foregrip bipods, designed to give
SAW gunners a foregrip/bipod combo, FAB T-PODs
were designed as precision bipods for designated
marksmen. While they will work fine for a SAW,
they are best used for precision/CQB work on a
rifle or carbine.
COUNTERFEIT WARNING
Several companies are now manufacturing
counterfeit copies of T-PODs. Many include the
FAB logo, T-POD branding and are marked “Made
in Israel.” The counterfeits are poorly made from
substandard materials and many do not work
even when new. If they do work, they soon fail.
The design of the T-POD requires very specific,
expensive polymer materials and the best quality
aluminum. This design cannot function when made
from inferior materials. Buy only from reputable
dealers to ensure that you receive a genuine T-POD.

CHOOSING A TACTICAL LIGHT
Tactical lights are valuable for identifying targets
and disorienting threats. A tactical light should be
compact and durable with a substantial battery life.
The beam should be bright enough to illuminate a
target or blind a threat, but does not need to be

and focused to avoid brightly illuminating walls and
door frames and distracting the shooter, while

but the point is to remain unseen.
Sure, these pistol conversions have killer looks,
but their purpose is to protect lives. Concealed
under a windbreaker or suit jacket, the ultra-reliable
micro carbine offers the serious executive security
professional stability, accuracy and sighting options
unmatched by any pistol.
THE NEED
Security professionals and certain LE units need
compact carbines (with better practical range and
accuracy than a pistol) that can be concealed under
a light jacket or suit jacket.
THE PROBLEM
Very few weapons fit this specialized role. Micro Uzis
are used extensively, but other similar-sized designs
lack reliability or are spectacularly expensive. A
totally new weapon system requires years of testing
and improvement to produce a reliable weapon.
Most pistol-to-carbine conversion systems are so
large that they are no more concealable than a
short M4 (lacking the better terminal ballistics of
the M4), thus negating any value. In addition, most
conversion systems have reliability issues, including
brass deflectors that cause jams and a tendency to
build up carbon in the front of the slide/barrel area
that causes malfunctions.
THE SOLUTION
The KPOS system is designed for serious use. It is
not much larger than the pistol itself and the entire
package fits in a pistol case. More compact than a
Micro Uzi, it solves design, cost and training issues
of a new weapon by building on the already familiar,
reliable designs of the host pistols.

MAGAZINE COUPLERS
The crucial part of most fights is over within
seconds. Initial contact requires a fast expenditure
of many rounds. When the first two magazines are
coupled, 60-rounds of ammunition are available with
a super-fast reload to establish fire superiority. For
patrol rifles or home defense weapons, coupled
magazines increase the available firepower when
additional magazines cannot easily be carried.
PADDLE BELT POUCHES
A paddle belt pouch puts one or several magazines
on the belt in an instant. They are ideal when you
need to grab a rifle and go and are perfect for patrol

IDF combat slings in three styles.
SINGLE-POINT SLING
The single-point sling is the most flexible for CQB
combat. It does not hold the weapon as tight to
the body as a three-point sling, but allows greater
maneuverability of the weapon. It is preferred by
many who are working in and out of vehicles and
need the greatest flexibility and speed. When
moving with a single-point sling, at least one hand
generally needs to be on the weapon.
TWO-POINT SLING
Two-point slings are the traditional style of sling,
originally intended to be attached to the front and
rear of the weapon. Like the single-point sling, they
are very simple to use. Our two-point sling, the
SL-1, can be used as a traditional two-point sling,
attached at the stock and rear of the handguard or
with both ends attached to a single point for use like
a single-point sling. It is also designed so that it can
function as a three-point sling if desired.

These are the only couplers designed to clamp

staggered side-by-side for M16/AR-15 rifles, one

KNG is an advanced multi-layer material developed
for tactical and duty holsters. The outside layer
is Kydex®,the second layer is Cordura®, the third
layer is PVC, molded to fit the weapon. The fourth
layer is polyethylene for extra protection and the
inner layer is a smooth, waterproof velvet for the
best protection of the pistol’s finish. This holster
is worn on the belt (BFL version) or with a paddle.
Secure retention is achieved by the screw-adjustable
tension of the molded Kydex.
The KNG PD1 holster is worn on the belt (BFL
version) or with a paddle. Positive retention is
achieved by the Push ‘n’ Draw System (PDS). The
holstered pistol is securely locked in place by a latch
which holds the trigger guard. A natural downward
push during the draw unlocks the pistol. The locking
system has no obvious release buttons, protecting
the pistol from being drawn by an unauthorized
person. BFL version shown below.
The KNG SR holster is worn on the belt (BFL
version) or with a paddle. Positive retention is
achieved by the Side Release (SR) system. The
holstered pistol is securely locked in place by a
latch which holds the trigger guard. Pressing the
side release during the draw unlocks the pistol.

This Kydex holster is worn on the belt (BFL version)
or with a paddle and features a suede lining to
protect against holster wear. Secure retention is
achieved by the adjustable tension of the molded
Kydex. BFL version shown.

the Quad Holster is our most flexible holster. Switch
from right-hand to left-hand wear, strong-side or

Both paddle and IWB belt clip are easily removable
