AusPacific’s proposal has a significant ‘point of difference’ offering a Modern, Inviting, Tropical Retail Centre. The Gateway Centre will integrate a range of lifestyle / family orientated facilities not available in other centres in Darwin and will provide a quintessential Northern Territory and Tourism theme to complement the attractiveness of the centre from a well planned and thriving retail perspective. Tura Beach Shopping Centre Site of 40,000 m2 re zoned for retail and commercial usage. Approved DA plans for a 5,000 m2 shopping centre comprising a 3,200m2 supermarket and 1,800m2 of specialty shops with a 200 space carpark. Forbes Central Shopping Centre DA approved new shopping centre of 5,000 m2 in the heart of Forbes to cater for this growing, regional town. Tuncurry Convenience Centre Planning is well underway for new convenience centre of approximately 3,300 m2 to cater for the existing demand for this growing NSW coastal town. Tuncurry Convenience Centre – Tuncurry/Forster, mid North Coast, NSW DA pending for 2,500 m2 full line supermarket and 800 m2 of speciality shops with 166 carspaces. Gateway Centre – Shopping Centre, Darwin International Airport Designing, building and operating a new shopping centre at the Darwin International Airport in a JV with NT Airports. This large shopping centre will be built in two phases of 18,000 m2 and 12,000 m2 on a site area of 9 Ha. Wyong Medical Centre – Wyong, Central Coast, NSW 6,000 m2 Medical Centre designed and integrated in with a 133 bed Nursing Home and directly adjacent to the new 319 bed Wyong Hospital. Forbes Central Shopping Centre – Forbes, Central West, NSW DA approved new centre comprising a 3,200 m2 full line supermarket and 850 m2 of speciality shops with 120 carspaces. After a successful career as an engineer and Senior Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force, Peter managed a property portfolio valued in excess of $1.2 billion, on behalf of one of Australia’s largest superannuation organisations. He went on to become project manager for Sydney’s Chifley Tower, one of the largest and most prestigious commercial projects in Australia. Peter has extensive experience with a wide range of projects from tourist resorts, land subdivisions, medium density residential developments as well as industrial, retail and large commercial projects. It is this experience that enables him to target specific and niche development opportunities in outstanding locations and achieve approvals that meet the demands of a very targeted and specific market segment. Richie Steinert BAcc, CPA, MBA, FAICD. Richie was involved in manufacturing in Australia and the United Kingdom before developing a successful career in the property industry. As Financial Controller for a multi billion dollar property portfolio of an internationally listed company, he participated in major acquisitions, divestments and corporate restructures involving complex financial and legal issues. Richie has extensive experience in a wide range of development projects, and his blend of business acumen, property development expertise and financial skills has ensured that AusPacific Property Group’s focus on niche quality projects has been profitable and successful. Paul Allinson BSc(Arch), BArch , RAIA, Registered Architect Paul has extensive experience in creating and delivering innovative and award winning developments in Australia and Asia. Paul is also a registered Architect and has designed and managed retail, commercial and residential projects of all scales and has developed collaborative networks and partnerships across Australia, SE Asia and China. Many of Paul’s projects have been published in books and magazines in Australia and Internationally and he has lectured in Sydney, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Beijing and Chiang Mai.
