1. The Resort-Casino: 61-story, 4,000-room hotel tower
designed by Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects (New Haven, CT)
with approximately 300,000 square feet of meeting and
convention space
A New Meaning to “Perini Green”
In the past, the expression “Perini Green”
referred to the color of our logo. Today, it
appropriately reflects our growing portfolio
of “green” buildings certified by the U.S.
Green Building Council.
3. Veer Towers: Two 37-story glass towers, each with
approximately 337 condominium residences designed
by Helmut Jahn (Chicago)
In addition to the massive construction effort, MGM MIRAGE
is expecting CityCenter to receive Leadership in Energy and
Environmental Design (LEED) NC Certification for “new construction” and a CS Certification for the “core and shell” of
the retail area. Gensler, the executive architect, is a leading
innovator in “green” design. For its part, Perini has assembled a team of LEED Accredited Professionals responsible to
track all pertinent project documents and submittals and to
familiarize subcontractors in LEED practices and procedures.
4. The Harmon Hotel, Spa & Residences: 400-room hotel
with approximately 200 condominium residences designed
by Foster and Partners (London)
Upon receiving its LEED certification, CityCenter will be
recognized as the largest “green” building project in
U.S. history.
2. Vdara Condo Hotel: 57-story tower with approximately
1,543 residential units designed by RV Architects, LLC
(New York) led by Rafael Viñoly
5. Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas: Approximately 227
luxury condominium units (The Residences at Mandarin
Oriental) atop a hotel tower designed by Kohn Pedersen
Fox Architects (New York)
4
6. Retail and Entertainment District: A neighborhood of
unique retail shops, dining and entertainment venues will
feature international luxury brands and high-end couture
under a crystalline canopy. David Rockwell and Rockwell
Group (New York) is designing the interiors. Exteriors
designed by Studio Daniel Libeskind (New York)

Building Operations
Our building companies — Perini Building Company, Inc.,
Rudolph and Sletten, Inc. and James A. Cummings, Inc. —
share a common philosophy that emphasizes trust and teamwork.
We foster partnership and professional collaboration. In 2006,
the projects well-suited to our resources and experience included
hospitality and gaming, residential condominiums, high tech
(microelectronics, biotech, pharmaceutical and nanotechnology),
healthcare, education, sports and entertainment and transportation. Eighty-two percent of our work came from private owners,
the majority of which were repeat customers.

Building Operations
Perini Building Company, Inc.
Perini Building Company continued to build upon its position as the nation’s top builder of hospitality and
gaming projects throughout 2006. The majority of our backlog at year-end consisted of contracts from repeat
clients such as MGM MIRAGE, Gaylord Entertainment and Station Casinos, who share our philosophy that
buildings are built through teamwork and that relationships are built on trust.
To achieve the levels of safety, quality and performance that we require on our projects, we put subcontractors
through a rigorous prequalification process, requiring three years of financial records and six trade references.
Our Diversity Development Program is committed to recruiting and mentoring qualified MBE/WBE/DBE
businesses nationwide, engaging their services and encouraging our major subcontractors and partners to
do the same.

Overhead Coverage Systems
Various Locations, Iraq
In September 2005, we were awarded Task
Order contracts in multiple locations in Iraq
by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers to design
and construct overhead coverage systems
to protect U.S. military bases against attack.
The structures are being built over high-density
gathering facilities such as dining halls, gymnasiums and PXs. Twenty-five of these structures
were completed in 2006. Perini has also
been selected to construct overhead coverage
systems to protect U.S. Department of State
personnel in select locations. The program has
been recently expanded with three additional
Task Orders.

Aircraft Acoustical Enclosure
U.S. Marine Corps Air Station
Beaufort, South Carolina
At the Marine Corps Air Station in Beaufort, South
Carolina, Perini is completing an aircraft engine testing
facility or “hush house,” requiring the demolition of
out-of-spec concrete work put in place by the previous
contractor and reconstruction of the original design.
The acoustical enclosure houses a 90-foot elliptical
augmenter and 50-foot exhaust stack for “in-frame”
testing and maintenance of military aircraft and engines.
The facility can accommodate jet aircraft and significantly
reduces residual noise levels.

Afghan National Army Brigade Facility
Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan
Under Task Orders awarded through Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity contracts to provide
design/build services to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers within the 25-country Central
Command, or CENTCOM, Area of Operations, we completed two brigade facilities for the use
of the Afghan National Army. At Mazar-e-Sharif, the last of four regional command facility projects
built by the Company in Afghanistan, Perini installed all utilities (e.g., water, sewer and 6 MW
power plant) and built over 90 structures — barracks, administrative buildings, warehouses,
maintenance facilities (shown) and a helipad.
C4 Project
LSA Anaconda, Iraq
In support of the U.S. Army’s Kuwait Iraq C4
(Command, Control, Communications and
Computers) Commercialization Program, we
installed 31 manholes, 70,000 feet of fiber
optic and copper cable and 9,000 feet of
concrete encased duct bank to establish
a state-of-the-art information infrastructure
in support of CENTCOM operations.
Electrical Transmission and Distribution
Various Locations, Iraq
As part of the Electrical Transmission and
Distribution projects for the Iraq Reconstruction
Program, Project and Contracting Office, we
constructed 14 new 33/11kV electrical substations, resulting in more equitable distribution
of electric power in five provinces in Southern
and Central Iraq.

Civil Construction Operations
Perini Civil Construction
Large urban infrastructure projects such as the repair, replacement and construction of bridges, highways,
mass transit systems, water, sewer and waste treatment facilities continue to be the focus of Perini’s civil
construction operations. Since the Company’s founding in 1894, we have had an affinity for innovation.
Each project brings a greater wealth of knowledge to our operations, translating into enhanced productivity
and quality control. For example, replacing the road decking on the Triborough Bridge several years ago
positioned us to successfully bid and build similar projects on the Bronx-Whitestone Bridge (awarded in
2003) and the Tappan Zee Bridge, awarded to us in August 2006. Our experience with prefabricated steel
orthotropic decking is well-suited to the Federal Highway Administration’s Accelerated Construction
Technology Transfer initiative, a process determined to lower costs, increase quality, speed construction,
enhance safety and mitigate traffic impacts.

Cherry Hill Construction, Inc.
Cherry Hill Construction has successfully completed all types of civil construction projects in the
Mid-Atlantic States and Florida for public owners and private industry under competitive bid, negotiated
and design/build contracts.
Over the past five years, approximately half of our project backlog was from federal, state and local governmental agencies. Regional Departments of Transportation (e.g., Maryland, Virginia, and Florida) historically
have been the Company’s largest customers, accounting for about one-third of annual revenues. In 2006,
project completions included the Masonville Marine Terminal (Phase II) for Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC,
constructing a 38-acre import/export parking facility in Baltimore that accommodates over 5,000 vehicles
and various highway projects in Maryland and Florida.

Building Technologies and Innovation
Going Deep on High-Rise Residential and High Tech
Perini’s civil operations group has used slurry wall construction methods to build mass transit and highway
projects in Boston and Washington, D.C. Perini Building Company has adapted these methods to building
projects, constructing a seven-story-deep vibration dampening foundation for the 20-story Smith Laboratories
at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, and to build the 70-foot-deep foundation for Cosmopolitan
Resort & Casino in Las Vegas (below) to accommodate a four-level, below-grade parking garage.

Leaders in Diversity
Perini and MGM MIRAGE continue to lead the
construction industry in diversity development.
Craig Shaw, Chairman and Chief Executive
Officer of Perini Building Company;
Donald Trump; Dick Rizzo, Vice Chairman
and Ken Schacherbauer, Vice President of
Field Operations celebrate the topping off
of Tower I at the Trump International Hotel &
Towers Las Vegas. Citing the competitive real
estate environment and the challenging construction market in Las Vegas and Perini’s
ahead-of-schedule performance, Trump said,
“We’ve hit a big home run with this tower.”
Several programs are offered to growing
M/W/DBE firms, including a one-day “How to do
High Trusses in Place at Gaylord
Business with Perini” workshop and a two-day
“Construction and Business Management
Training Program” that covers estimating, financial management, employment and construction
law, scheduling, leadership skills and technology. Also, MGM MIRAGE and Perini Building
Company initiated a nationwide campaign to identify qualified M/W/DBE firms to participate in the construction of CityCenter.
Perini Partners with MBDA

Department of Commerce — the only federal
agency created specifically to foster the establishment and growth of minority-owned businesses. Perini and MBDA have co-sponsored
and are planning additional B2B (Business-to-Business) meetings in the Las Vegas area.
The mission of MBDA reflects Perini’s commitment to its Diversity Development Initiative.
