Welcome to the All Canadian
Speckle Park & Angus Bull &
Female Sale
Sara and I would like to welcome and thank the Herbert’s, Berting’s, Sutherland’s, and
Grey’s for their consignments. This year we are offering a great selection of coming two
year olds and yearlings. With the demand for Speckle Park cattle remaining incredibly high,
the phone has been ringing off the hook. Most inquiries want to get their hands on anything
Speckle Park. We have the bulls to get them headed in the right direction.
Its nice to be able to have the sale on the farm for two reasons. We are able to serve the
world class Speckle Park beef that everyone raves about. The second is the option to walk
through the cow herd. We will bed them down next to the sale barn for your convenience.
We are coming off a successful show at Canadian Western Agribition with Grand
Champion and Reserve Grand Champion Females and Grand Champion Bull. The
Denver Stock Show was also a success with a new twist; a bull calf sired by Eye
Candy and out of a purebred Speckle Park cow, Star Bank 79S. He is co-owned and
bred by the Hiller family of Devon, AB. He sure turned heads and got the breed even more
attention down in the States.
Thank You to All the 2012 Buyers

For your convenience there are two Speckle Park influence sales taking place in the fall.
One occurs at the Vold Jones Vold Auction in Olds, AB and the other at Heartland in
Lloydminster, SK, both paying premium prices. The Speckle Park breed is one of the most
efficient cattle you could possibly feed. So good, that most people that have switched, tend to over feed them. This is your chance to add a good,
old style, easy doing British type to your herd. No professional photos done here. We catalogue them the way you would see them if there was no
sale day. What you see is what you get. None of these bulls are stuffed full of feed. You can have confidence in buying a bull that’s not burned out,
and is going to give you years of production. We wish you the best with your purchases and look forward to seeing you all for lunch on sale day.

From the desk at T Bar...
Welcome to the second annual All Canadian Speckle Park and Angus Bull
Sale. Hosted by Jason and Sara Goodfellow, the home and origin of this great
Canadian breed. For those who have heard of, but not tried, to infuse Speckle
Park into your program, you are missing a very unique opportunity.
The special fall Speckle Park feeder calf sales have had a great degree of success,
with only one
short pitfall ... supply. Each year, the demand and premium for these influence calves increases, as
feeders are enjoying the feed efficiency of the breed and its outstanding carcass qualities. Cuts from
a Speckle Park carcass are ideal in size with amazing marbling and defined as an eating experience ...
enjoyed worldwide, in fine dining establishments. In addition to the carcass advantage, the breed offers
feed efficiency, calving ease and high maternal qualities.
The offering of bulls is solid; you can rest assured that you are selecting from the top of each program as no bulls have been offered or
picked-over. All the bulls will be semen tested and vet inspected so you can select your purchases with confidence.
In addition to the stellar offering of Speckle Park bulls, David and Carol Gray have again brought you the top cut of their Black Angus
program ... bulls that offer the latest in Angus genetics.
The livestock industry has exciting times ahead, therefore adding current quality genetics
to your program will add to your success in the market place, while strengthening your
maternal base. Feel free to stop by the ranches for a preview of the offering or call any of
the consignors and discuss your breeding needs.
Plan to come early sale day and be guests for a home cooked lunch.
If we at T Bar C, may be of assistance prior to or sale day, do not hesitate to call Ted or
myself.

Full brother and sister combination were the double Grand
Champions at Stockade Round up in Lloydminster and Canadian
Western Agribition in 2007. He was first sold to the River Hill
breeding program. And later sold to The Star Bank. Six Star then
purcased the Star Bank herd along with Romeo. He is now owned by
Ron Bexfield. Ron has had lots of great heifers sired by him and needs
to change his genetics. There is still lots of years left in this good bull.
We used his sire naturaly for 11 years.

This cow is one of the best we will ever have. There were three embryo calves
by her and her natural bull calf, all shown at Canadian Western Agribtion. All
her calves were out of different sires and all placed Grand Champion or Reserve
Champion. Although the bull is black, he shows off power that is his stacked
pedigree. This one has tons of performance. No color bonus but one of the most
powerful bulls we have raised to date.

She has been one of the most talked about females at the fall shows. A female
that is extreamly broody but still able to stay amazingly feminine and thats rare
in any breed. We have a A&W 15R heifer calf at foot, that is colored up just
perfect. We can hardly wait to show them off this fall.
We guarentee 6 embryos. With all costs going to the buyer. Any production
after 6 will be split between the owner and the buyer.

Spots ' N Sprouts
As a member of Lilydale Livestock Sales, we are pleased to be hosting our Second
Annual “All Canadian Speckle Park and Angus Sale.” We were very pleased with the
success of our first sale and for that we thank all those who supported our sale, both as
bidders and buyers, and to T Bar C for the excellent job they did of handling the sale.
We have worked hard to promote the breed for the past 33 years, both as members of
the Canadian Speckle Park Association and the Saskatchewan Speckle Park Association. Our efforts have
been well rewarded as the success stories continue to multiply. Each year sees even better quality animals,
higher prices, and more Speckle Park breeders, both Canadian and international. Without a doubt, for
us the highlight of 2012 was when one of our progeny, Spots ‘N Sprouts Stands Alone was named Grand
Champion Speckle Park bull at the 2012 Canadian Western Agribition.
We are pleased to be able to offer five two year old bulls and a couple mature bulls to the sale offering. We feel they will be valuable
assets to both commercial and purebred herds. We trust these bulls will contribute to the calving ease and well marbled carcasses that
we, as Speckle Park breeders, have been used to.
We wish everyone, both buyers and sellers, another successful All Canadian Speckle Park & Angus Sale.

Ravenworth Cattle
- Black Angus Females
We are offering four uniform heifers from our registered Angus herd. These heifers come from our Ruby cow family.
Powerful, wide pinned and balanced, these heifers offer a unique pedigree. The Ruby cow family is a large part of our
Angus herd because of their maternal nature, good udder structure, exceptional milking, deep bodies and great foot
and leg structure. You can see these great qualities in these heifers along with eye appeal and style. The sire of these
heifers is Ravenworth Initiative 7X.
