Blue Notes Week of October 5, 2015
Jacobs School Blue Notes
Notes for the week of October 5, 2015
A Note from the Principal
Who says gardening is only for the
spring? Holly Hill Farm is presenting Water
Conservation and Spinach Planting Programs
to the 2nd grade for the next few weeks. Each
second grade class will work with Jon Berber,
Education Director at Holly Hill Farm, as he
teaches students about planting spinach in
the fall. Then, later in October, students will
plant garlic. This program, sponsored by
Aquarion Water Company & Holly Hill Farm,
will teach students skills to last a lifetime.
