Our dream of living in the mountains of northern Pennsylvania became a reality in the summer
of 2004. After purchasing several acres in southern Tioga county, we moved our existing wholesale
furniture business to our current location in Liberty, PA. Due to the fluctuations in the furniture
market, the decision was made to branch out into a sideline retail venture. We began offering post
and beam storage sheds with board and batten siding built on our customers' sites. Because of
numerous customer requests, we soon added more styles and options of storage sheds and gazebos to
our product line.
Thanks to the help of a realtor friend, we began building log-sided cabins on wooded parcels that
were listed on the real estate market. We were surprised at the high demand for these small hunting
and vacation cabins. What began as a sideline venture, quickly grew into our main business focus.
At Black Creek, it is our goal to provide top-notch quality products as well as customer service

Black Creek sheds and gazebos are fully assembled and delivered to your site with our truck and specially
designed shed trailer. To ensure that you get the longest life possible out of your shed, it is important to prepare
a suitable shed pad. We recommend 4-6 inches of clean gravel, so the area under and around the shed has proper
drainage. The pad should be approximately 2 feet longer and wider than the shed, and should be hand raked so
the whole area is flat and level. Use a straight 2x4 with a level taped to it or a laser level to assist in making a level
pad. If your shed site is located on a grade, you may want to add a retainer wall as shown in this photo. Remember,

preparation, the happier you will be with the
results. Ask us for references for a landscaper
in your area if you are uncomfortable with
tackling the job yourself.
