OVERALL LEASING PLAN N.E. 73rd WAY N.E. 73rd WAY NEW DEVELOPMENTS East End Redmond Town Center has recently transformed the street down the middle of the center from the previous condition of a vehicular use street with sidewalks to a pedestrian only European style walkway. The walkway uses bollards and planters to clearly define the change of use from vehicular traffic, yet still maintains ingress for emergency and event vehicles. With the increase in pedestrian and bicycle density, the use of a pedestrian walkway is more in line with an environment that is more inviting for gathering. Redmond Town Center is striving to partner with more new and dynamic tenants that continue to grow the economy of Redmond by attracting the longwithstanding Redmond resident, the new Redmond transplant, the temporary stay workers and people from outside the community. This fresh look of 74th Street is a big step to show the changes that Redmond Town Center is making to be able to attract not only these guests but new dynamic tenants to Redmond. West End The improvements include such things as additional benches, tables, chairs, a fireplace, wood decked seating areas, enlarging the center court fountain, shuffleboard court, location for a holiday ice rink, planned integration for a farmers market, raising of the center court area and more. West End The Archer Hotel planned for Redmond Town Center will be a seven story structure with two levels of internal parking over the hotel lobby and below the four levels of rooms. The hotel ground floor is designed to be very transparent with a great amount of floor to ceiling glass. The use of large glass “garage doors” will allow the hotel to open the lobby and bar areas up to the outside. There will be large covered patio spaces on the East side of the building which will then be able to open up into the interior creating unique gathering spaces. The hotel will feature meeting rooms, event rooms, and an interior pool and an exercise room. Construction begins on this project Spring of 2016. Redmond TC Apartments is planned to be 6 stories, utilizing the Green Building Program to gain the additional 6th story. Approximately 282 units, with 490 parking stalls (in accordance withe the transportation consultants analysis of parking demand) and 9,000 SF of retail is currently planned. There will be a mix of loft units with mezzanines, open one bedrooms, one bedrooms, and two bedroom units. A generous courtyard and roof-top terrace will provide comfortable exterior amenity space for the residents. Affordable housing will be provided pursuant to the Redmond Zoning Code. Construction begins on this project Spring of 2016. MARKETING AND EVENTS E-MARKETING EVENTS The Redmond Town Center website reaches a large audience and offers consumers up-to-date information on the store mix, new stores, events, sales, gift cards, and how to visit. Email marketing and social media are also key marketing tools used to motivate consumers to visit and create strong customer relationships with captivating marketing campaigns, giveaways, promotions, community news, and event information. Stores can submit events and sales information for promotion on the website and in social media. Social media plays a strong role in building connection, familiarity with the Center, gathering feedback, and enticing return visits. Redmond Town Center signature events are a significant tool in driving new and repeat customer traffic and accelerating and deepening customer relationships. These custom events integrate merchants and shoppers, and effectively create goodwill. Attracting thousands of shoppers each year, events provide an experience that cannot be duplicated online. They also encourage entire families to visit, thus increasing the number of shoppers. Annual events, such as the holiday festivities, have become a tradition in families’ lives.
