Sensory Deprivation: Seeing With the Mind’s Eye
More years ago than I care to remember, I was asked by a parapsychology lab to
design a blindfold that would completely shut out all visual stimuli. The purpose
of this was to test the theory that when the sense of sight is eliminated, other—
psychic—senses begin to awaken. I was intrigued, and participated in the
experiments for two years as a professional lab rat (to this day I’ll run any maze
for a morsel of cheese).
During my show, I pass on what I learned as I attempt The Great Group Mind
Reading Experiment, during which I ask everyone in the
audience to concentrate on personal questions and information that only they
would know. I allow a committee to strap me into the sensory-deprivation
apparatus, and then I attempt to connect with the thoughts of EVERYONE in the

At age six, Jon Saint-Germain decided he
wanted to be a Wizard when he grew up. He's
been studying magical subjects ever since -over 40 years later! Today he is a professional
entertainer, author and strange person. During
the 1982 Knoxville World's Fair, he
successfully solved the Rubik's Cube while
blindfolded. Professor Erno Rubik thought
this was the most amazing thing he had ever
witnessed. The most common remark made
during this time was "Heck, I can't solve it with
my eyes OPEN!"
He is a popular guest on television and radio
programs. He has even read palms over the
radio! He also enjoys speaking for Civic clubs
on a variety of topics including Intuition, Memory, and Weight
Reduction. His books -- Runic Palmistry, Karmic Palmistry and A
Lover’s Guide to Palmistry are available in bookstores and from his
website. Because of his eclectic knowledge of all things magical and
psychic, he has consulted for the Learning Channel, TLC, and David
Copperfield.. In 2009, he was one of only 20 performers selected to
perform for the prestigious Salute to Heroes Inaugural Ball honoring the
Joint Chiefs of Staff and the living recipients of the Medal of Honor,.
