I hope you are all keeping warm out there. Suddenly it’s winter.
Firstly thank you very much to Krystle, Krystle’s mum, Clare, Tina,
and Lisa for sewing up all the kapa haka dresses. They look great.
Siobhan, Maiah, Aneah, Kieren, Austin, Levi, Danielle, Katie,
Mateaki and Zackariah are going to Awahou cross country
tomorrow. They ran really well at Hiwinui. Good luck to them and I
hope the weather holds up for it. They will need warm jackets and
a change of shoes for after their race. There is food for sale out
there. They will have sausages, drinks, soup etc and everything will
be $1 or $1.50.
Please get your tickets for the Kainui concert. If you get them from
the Feilding Information Centre they will charge a $2.50 booking
fee. If you get them from the Regent they will only charge a $1.00
booking fee. I don’t know if they have door sales on the night. All
the children at school are in the concert and the other Kainui
Principals have told me that our juniors are welcome to be on
stage for the last 3 songs so disregard what I told you last week. All
our children will be on stage for our item and the 3 songs choir item
at the end.
Tues 28th Kapa Haka

know as we have some parents who have offered to take extra
children in to it for you.
July

have things to discuss regarding these reports please feel free to
come in and see the teachers.

Last day of Term 2
Could you please talk to your children about not wasting the food
you put in for their lunches. Regardless of what we say, some
children are still throwing away whole pieces of fruit in the rubbish.
It is such a waste.
Congratulations to Pita, Krystle and Andrea who are our new BOT
members. You will all bring some great skills to our Board and I look
forward to working with you.
Have a great weekend,
Margie
