“ Life is filled with lessons, and this one arrived early Sunday morning. I had much of my gear into their various bags, with only my tent left standing and
unpacked, I decided to put everything out on the picnic table next to my tent. I have these great Ortlieb bags that are bomb proof and keep all my packables nice
and dry in high speed rain-riding. They have a nice wide opening on them so you can pack and retrieve from them quite easily. I had mine wide open out on the
top of the picnic table, when I realized I was way ahead of schedule and decided to go to breakfast to return later to close everything up and finish packing. Suddenly
with no warning, it began raining like the dickens and my rain proof bags became giant buckets for my now sodden gear from the attendant falling sky. Needless
to say when I got home, I looked like the local sporting goods store with tent, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, etc, etc, all hanging out to dry due to their soaking wet condition. The moral is, "once you start packing, finish it"!

waterproof throw-over soft saddlebags: they are made of the same
materials and use the same sealing system found on waterproof ‘dry’
bags. The easy loading top entry design rolls over and clips at both
