The cable car takes you high up from Konrad-AdenauerUfer (the Rhine bank) to the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress
mountain station. The ride over the Rhine surely is among
the greatest attractions in the Oberes Mittelrheintal
area. Enjoy spectacular views and discover the wonderfully designed landscape garden on the fortress plateau.
On the way down you can look forward to exploring one
of Germany’s most beautiful cities where the Rhine and
Moselle rivers meet. Walk in the footsteps of the Imperial
Age across the electoral palace garden, take a relaxed
stroll along the newly designed waterside promenades
and discover the historic old town with its very special
charm that is typical for Koblenz.

Find out more about the ever changing history of one
of Europe’s largest fortified sites from 20 exciting and
informative stops and multimedia presentations. Four
big exhibition halls take you on a discovery tour: Go on a
“garden journey” and enjoy the exhibition on the famous
Prussian garden artist Peter Joseph Lenné. Learn about
brands from Rhineland-Palatinate and their history,
discover spectacular findings from one million years of
human history, and get to know interesting facts on the
wine country of Rhineland-Palatinate and the history
of photography.
And if you like to experience “living history”, uni­versal
soldier or the Prussian officer in his uniform jacket will
welcome you in a very special way.
Fortress gastronomy –
Delicacies for any taste.
Snacks for your very own conquering tour at the fortress
or for the return journey are available at the kiosk or at
the beer garden with the best view of Koblenz. Discover
wines from Rhineland-Palatinate and enjoy regional
delicacies at the wine bar. The Casino restaurant at
the fortress offers you both a wonderful view as well
as culinary highlights from the region and beyond.

a)All season ticket holders are entitled to go on multiple trips with the Koblenz Cable Car during
the official operating hours as well as outside the official operating hours during all public events
according
to notice.
b)All season ticket holders are entitled to enter the Ehrenbreitstein Fortress during the opening hours
that are subject to entrance fees and during events organised by the Rhineland-Palatinate Cultural
Heritage Directorate General. Closed-off areas and events by external organisers are excluded.
c) Combined season ticket: a) Cable car season ticket and b) Fortress season ticket apply jointly.
General information: The season ticket is personalised and non-transferrable. By using the Koblenz
Cable Car, a transportation contract with Skyglide Event Deutschland GmbH, Inselgraben 6/II, 88131
Lindau, Germany, is deemed concluded. The applicable terms of transportation are available at all
ticket shops as well as online at www.seilbahn-koblenz.de. In the case of loss or damaging of the
season ticket, reissuance will only be possible on presentation of the receipt.
Reissuance is subject to a lump sum fee of 5.00 €.
All prices are gross prices including 7 % VAT.
