Since our inception in 1956, HPC has developed a worldwide reputation for designing and manufacturing
a wide range of innovative car opening tools to make your job easier.
HPC invented the in-the-door method of car opening with the development of the Original Slim Jim™.

The Thru Car Clutch™ and Super Thru Car Clutch™
are two longer versions of HPC's patented clutch tools.
When the two-part handles of the tool are separated, the
hook at the end of the tool is pulled inward causing the tool
to grip or bind. What sets these two tools apart is that they
are designed for “in-the-car” methods. The Thru
Car Clutch™ car opening tool is a full 5 feet (150cm) in
length, making it perfect for hooking an inside door

HPC’s 5-Foot Super Snare allows you to enter a
vehicle and pull up buttons, grab keys, pull open
levers and much more! This 5-foot long (150cm) tool is a
metal tube with an internal wire that forms a loop on the
end. To open the loop, slide the two-part handles together.
To close the loop, slide the handles apart. The 5-Foot
Super Snare is easily bendable and has a rubber tip to

The HPC Twin Hooks has a double-hook end that
opens and closes with a simple push and pull of the tool
handle. Reaching across vehicles and grabbing door
handles has never been easier! The double hook ends
overlap each other as they close, giving twice the

Opener
The Switch Stick is a 5-foot (150cm) long bendable
tool with a unique hook end designed to open cars from
the inside. This tool slips into a vehicle between the
window and door frame. Once inside, the Switch Stick acts
as a third hand allowing you to flip switches, lift buttons
and hook handles. The hook features a protective coating
and rubber cap, so that the tool will not damage the
interior. The Switch Stick is ideal for vehicles with side
impact airbags where customers may be hesitant to have
tools enter the door cavity. It is also great for vehicles with
flush finger-tip lock switches such as Lexus, Volvo and
others.
The Fishing Pole is the most flexible tool ever. Shift
and Shape! Twist and Turn! Flip and Flex! Grip and Grab!
At 7 feet (213cm) long, the Fishing Pole easily reaches

separated, the working end curves and flexes up to

HPC’s Air Wedge® and Universal Air Wedge® are
HPC originals. Simply slide the wedge between the
vehicle door and the weather stripping on the door frame.
Squeeze the pump bulb, inflating the Air Wedge®,
separating the vehicle door from the frame to create an
opening suitable for the insertion of a car
opening tool. The Universal Air Wedge® features
increased width, giving you a larger gripping area for
inserting the wedge into the top corner of tighter fitting
doors. Both are equipped with a release valve and work
exceptionally well with the HPC AutoSleeve™ (No. AS-1).

The Ultimate Auto Wedges are designed for smooth
safe insertion and will not fall into door cavities. The special
angled tip allows for easier insertion and the sure-stop
edge stops you from pushing the wedges in too far. The
Ultimate Auto Wedges feature a tapered body that prevents
them from popping out and the special "illumination hole"
holds your probe light in place at any angle.
Available in two popular sizes, 3/4" (19mm) and 3/8"
(9.5mm) maximum thickness.
The HPC Power Wedge™ is a revolutionary auto entry
device designed to aid in opening even the most difficult
vehicles! This spring loaded compound lever that
safely spreads a vehicle door away from the body,
allowing for the easy entry of a through-the-car
opening tool. The Power Wedge™ slides into the
opening between the vehicle's door and frame
at the top of the door. The rubber-coated
ends protect the vehicle from scratches
and the adjustment knob allows you to
control how wide you need the door to open.
Simply turn the knob clockwise and watch as

to stand up to heavy use. The long-lasting LED is cool
to the touch, so that you no longer have to worry about a
hot bulb breaking when it comes in contact with a cold

other bending lights, yet rigid enough to keep
straight. Just plug in the light extension and the light is
on. The tool includes a suction cup to conveniently secure

The Flexible Probe Light, equipped with a Krypton
bulb, is an economical, high intensity diagnostic

industry! The Lever Wedge has been designed and
engineered from the ground up. It features a double
pivot point that allows you to spread a vehicle door from
its frame and then with a simple push, hold it open.
