Purchasing a home
is
getting
easier.
Sellers are definitely
motivated.
Interest
rates are low. And,
at Bankers First Mortgage, their underwriting
is
more
“common sense” than
any of the local banks
in our area.
“Purchasing a home
doesn’t have to be a
difficult task”, states
George Hanzimanolis,
president of Bankers
First
Mortgage.
“There are a number
of buyers and sellers
that would love to
get together. Unfortunately, they may
not know how to
structure the purchase
agree-ment to make
the transaction flow
easily.”
According
to
Hanzimanolis, “There
are so many little tips
when buying or selling
your home. The way
the
agreement
is
structured can save
parties
hundreds,
if not thousands of
dollars. I love working
with
buyers
and
helping them in the
transaction. It makes
everything run so
much smoother, and
my borrowers can get
into a home with little
or no money down, no
closing costs, and even
a credit for escrows.”
“Generally, we look
at three categories
to qualify for a loan.
The first category is
credit. We can offer
financing for credit
scores as low as 600.
The second category
is down payment. We
have programs with
no money down, or as
little as 3 1/2 % down.
The third and final test
is income. Our guidelines allow for cosigners and expanded
debt to income ratios.
As long as the loan
makes
sense,
we
should be able to help
Mention this ad
our clients”, states Mr.
Hanzimanolis.
“I
encourage
anyone interested in
buying or selling a
home to contact me
before they even speak
with their Realtor. I
can advise you how
to make the best of the
home buying, or home
selling process. Sellers
are thankful when
they speak with us in
advance. While we do
not own a real estate
company, we know
all of the Realtors in
the area, and area
happy to recommend
a pro-fessional who
will work to sell your
home quickly. As for
the buyers, we want to
make sure you get the
best possible scenario
when purchasing that
home.”

Once active orthodontic treatment is
complete and your
braces are removed,
patients often think
that this is the end
of their orthodontic
treatment. However,
there is one final stage
in orthodontics to ensure the longevity of
your new smile. It is
called retention.
Retention is a passive treatment period where retainers
are used to hold your
teeth in the corrected
position. Your retainer wear is a very important phase and is
sometimes the most
difficult stage in your
orthodontic treatment

process. If retainers aren’t worn as instructed
by your orthodontist,
your teeth will want
to shift back into their
original position. It is
up to you to make sure
this doesn’t happen.
Retainer wear is
considered to be a lifetime commitment to
guarantee the stabil-
ity of your treatment
plan. The first two
years of your retention
phase are the most important. Most

of our patients receive
a removable acrylic
retainer for the upper arch, and an essix
(clear retainer) and a
lower fixed retainer
for the bottom arch. It
is highly recommended that you wear your
retainers at least 14
hours each day.
Retainer care is also
as important as retainer wear. Keeping
them clean and handling them carefully
are important for the
longevity of the retainer, which can be
costly to replace if you
should lose or break
them. Your teeth need
time to adapt to the
corrected position and
by following through
with your retention
phase and wearing
your retainers as instructed, you can keep
your smile as healthy
and beautiful as the
day your braces were
removed.

The quality and appearance of a quilt is a
combination of many
factors, including the
design, craftsmanship,
and type of fabric. But
if you think about it,
it is the color scheme
of the quilt that can
really make or break
a quilt. That is, bright
colors can make even
the dullest design
interesting and will
draw the eye towards
it instead of any small
mistakes you may
have made. As for the
type of fabric…as long
as you purchase from
The Quilted Crow, you
won’t have to worry
about the quality of
the fabric.
But since color is so
important in a quilt,
we’d like to help you
out a little. It is easy to
get lost in a shop full of
so many color options
and combinations that
it can become overwhelming. So, when
you’re first starting a
quilt and trying to decide what colors you
would like the quilt to
be, you may want to
visit colourlovers.com,
which is a color palette
generator. You can experiment by making
your own color palette
or choose from over a
million color palettes
already used.
This
will give you a better
idea of what fabrics
to look for in the shop
and what colors will
work well with each
other.
Happy coloring!

The Angel ... Truly an
Easter Angel
The Angel of Hope
She is simply the
most precious angel
you will ever own,
and unlike any angel
you have ever had.
Why? She is created in
the mold with a single
drop of Holy Water
from Lourdes.
Many years ago I
received a beautiful
bottle of Holy Water
from Lourdes. I had
wondered some 15
years later how I could
use this Holy Water
to give Hope to everyone. Hope, just a 4
letter word but it can
change lives. With so
much negative in today’s world and the
uncertainty we are living through as to what
tomorrow might bring
I feel the world needs
hope. I decided to take
a small very plain, but
eloquent angel mold
and as I would pour
the mold, I would add
a drop of Holy Water
from Lourdes. In my
heart I can honestly tell
you the idea was born
here at Created-By-U
Ceramics in Effort, PA.
The Angel of Hope has
become the symbol of
our store, being hand
painted on the premises she is by far awe-inspiring.
Each angel, also
comes with its’ very
own explanation of
the presence of Holy
Water, and is gift
boxed …making it a
wonderful gift to give
to those we love, and
those in need of a miracle.

(The Angel Poem)
This poem was written by me after the recent natural disasters
and shooting tragedies. I was so inspired
by the many people
who placed their lives
on hold to help those
in need. These people
were angels on earth,
they are real life angels of hope and I felt
inspired to pay tribute
to them in my poem
which I recite…I’m
sure you’ll enjoy! Is
the Angel of Hope
your miracle waiting
to happen?
We are so proud
to say that the Angel
of Hope can be purchased at Gift Design
Galleries, an exquisite
gift store in the Lehigh
Valley Mall, Whitehall, PA and of course
at Created-By-U Ceramics, Effort, PA.
