BUSINESS OVERVIEW
Kiosco Orito is a kiosk that offers a variety of groceries such as refrigerated chicken, snacks, and soda. The
kiosk was located in a convenient location, right next to the Pan-American Highway and community school.
Based on her previous business profile, the business is making about $150 sales everyday. However, there are
no records to support these numbers. Lenelia has been using a disorganized bookkeeping and inventory
system. Lenelia is also talking about expanding her business and creating a bakery. The color of the kiosk’s
title is also fading and hidden. As a result, our group proposed 4 solutions to improve and expand her
business.

FURTHER DETAILS & OBSERVATIONS
Scheduling for kiosk is not accurate. She has taken out a large loan-$800, this amount is more than she
needed. $600 is unused at the moment, she is paying interest for this amount. Only $200 was used for
inventory. The unused money has been sitting for 2 months, collecting interest, as of 5/7/15
INFORMATION GATHERED AFTER INITIAL QUESTIONS
She wants to grow avocados. However, she did not mention her plan of action for growing avocados for her
business.
