For the first time, the Island Heat
LuWOW dinner production show
combines the exciting music and
romantic setting of the South Pacific islands with the sparkle and
Pizzazz of a Las Vegas show.
Well known Las Vegas show
producer John Stuart (Legends in
Concert) not only creates a different look but the costumes, choreography, music, lighting, dinner
and almost everything else is different about this show!
One high-energy act after another transports the audience to
Hawaii, Fiji, Tahiti, and to the
Maori natives of New Zealand in
ways that have never been done
before.
Imagine the surprise of seeing a
showgirl’s headdress, feathers and
sequins on South Pacific Island
costumes. It is two different worlds
joined together.
If you are confused when you
see the show, yes, the dancers do
mix a little Hip-Hop and jazz with
their island dance routines.
The finishing touch to every
production is the lighting to set the
perfect mood for the show. They
chose bright pink, blue, yellow and
other multicolored lights for dramatic effect to accent the dancers.
I enjoyed the show because
LauWOW did not simply copy the
usual Tropical Island theme, they
created an entirely new concept.
This is one of the few dinner
shows in Las Vegas for a dinner and
show or show only experience.
Those who remember the dinner
shows of Old Las Vegas will appreciate Island LuWOW.
The Island Heat LuWOW dinner show, that is LuWOW instead
of Luau, brings a different slant to
the usual Island shows.
Island Heat appears at the
Kahunaville Restaurant’s new “Island Heat LuWOW” showroom,
inside the Treasure Island Hotel,
3300 Las Vegas Blvd South, on the
Las Vegas Strip.
Two shows nightly, except
Tuesdays, at 6 and 8 pm, dinner and
show — $59.99 (plus taxes and
fees) or show only —$39.99 (plus
taxes and fees). For information,
