WE SELL OUT ON THE WEEKENDS PLEASE BOOK EARLY FOR THE CABANA YOU PREFER!
We call the tents we rent “River’bana’s”. They are private Cabanas located directly on the
Wekiva River or Sweetwater Creek.
They are described in this publication in order of size from smallest to largest (increasing in
capacity and price) for your information.
As you approach the main grouping of River’bana’s at Wekiva Island, the first one you come to
is named the "Audubon Cabana”. All funds collected for this cabana is donated to the "Birds of
Prey Center" in Maitland (http://fl.audubon.org/audubon-center-birds-prey).
Cabana's #1 through #4 are 11’ x 12’ in size. Each have outdoor patio furniture on a raised
deck consisting of a couch, chair, coffee table, and wall unit with a built in 45 quart ice chest.
They also have two Adirondack chairs in the sand directly on the Wekiva River.

FROM 9 AM TO 5 PM.
YOU CAN NEVER BRING ALCOHOL TO WEKIVA ISLAND.
The Otter Cabana is similar with the
same size canopy but it also has an
extended deck with a private picnic
table. This cabana proudly sits on the
corner of the Wekiva River and the
Sweetwater Creek. It also has its own
private grill off its deck. This is our most
popular cabana. The VIP Cabana is larger. It is 12'x22'
and has 2 couches, 2 chairs and 2
coffee tables, a wall unit, a picnic
table and its own grill/summer kitchen.

Same size as the VIP is the Sand
Cabana. It gets its name from its sand
floor. This Cabana sits on the west side
of our property near the Barr
Education Center, close to steps into
the river. The amenities are the similar
to the VIP however it does have a
private fire-pit. A new addition is our 20 x 20 tent is
comes with 2 picnic tables, 2
Adirondack chairs and a grill and is
located near the Sand Cabana.

Parties must start early if you want all of your guests to get in
Each Cabana (Audubon, Cabanas 1,2,3,4, Otter & VIP) comes with 2 marked parking spots. Please park in front of the post for YOUR Cabana not another
and pull up to that post and your 2nd vehicle will fit behind yours! These are your guaranteed parking spots. You may come and go. When our lot fills up
there is nothing we can do to fit more cars until guests leave. Please carpool and ask your guests to also! We have NO authorized offsite parking.
You are NOT ALLOWED TO BRING IN ANY ALCOHOL. We are not nice about this. This is a LAW! Florida Statute 562.02
There is NO SMOKING under any tent or Cabana or within 25 feet of any building this is FIRE CODE!
There is a $1 per person entrance fee
Cabana rentals are from 9 AM to 5 PM, please check in at the bar when you arrive and the Cabana Girls will start coming around to wait on your Cabana
No grills may be brought in. Grills are included with the Cabana rentals they are gas and we supply the gas you need to bring anything else to use the
grills.
You may bring one (1) cooler and it is subject to search. A cooler is included with the Cabana rental we put ice and 6 waters in it.
No solo cups we have cups if you will ask your Cabana girl she will get you some! No confetti and no water balloons please they will pollute the river! Please do NOT tape to the Audubon display sign!
The speed limit is 30 MPH on Miami Springs Drive please do 30 or better yet LESS! Please … our neighbors can’t stand the speeders and neither can we!
No additional tents - you may bring folding chairs and beach umbrellas.
Please do not play loud music. We pay musicians on the weekends and your neighbor may not have the same taste in music as you
We do NOT allow guests to walk in with food or drinks on the weekends so having a “covered dish” party is not a good idea. All of your food and nonalcoholic drinks needs to come in the 2 vehicles that you get to park near your Cabana
