There is a fee for vehicle entry, boat
inspection, dogs, fishing permits, boat rental,
boat launch, windsurfing, camping, and
reservable group picnics. Fees are posted at
the park entrance. For reservable picnic and
camping information, call 1-888-327-2757,
option 2.
TO REACH DEL VALLE REGIONAL PARK:
To swim beaches, picknicking, and hiking at the south end: From I-580 in
Livermore, exit at North Livermore Ave. Drive south on North Livermore
Ave. through the City of Livermore. North Livermore Ave. becomes South
Livermore Ave., then becomes Tesla Road outside Livermore. Turn right at
the intersection with Mines Road. Follow Mines Road to its intersection
with Del Valle Road and follow Del Valle Road to the park entrance.
To the Arroyo Road Staging Area: From I-580 in Livermore: Take the Portola
Ave. exit. Drive southeast on Portola Ave. and turn right on North L Street.
After crossing First Street, North L Street becomes South L Street and then
Arroyo Road. Continue on Arroyo Road past Sycamore Grove Park and the
U.S. Veterans Administration Hospital, all the way to the end. The staging
area is on the left.

Please enjoy our Regional Parks safely, and help us protect and preserve
your parklands by complying with park rules and regulations.
SAFETY and ETIQUETTE
• Stay on trails. Taking shortcuts can be dangerous and causes erosion.
• Wading and/or swimming in undesignated areas may be dangerous
and may harm the watershed.
• Carry and drink plenty of water. Dehydration is a leading cause of
injuries on the trail.
• Be prepared for sudden changes in weather conditions.
• Trails can be slippery, rocky, and steep. Proceed carefully at your own risk.
• Wildlife may be present on the trails at any time. Feeding or
approaching wildlife is dangerous and illegal.
• Bicycles are permitted on designated trails only. Horses have the
right-of-way on trails.
• Keep the parks beautiful. Pack out what you pack in.

GROUP CAMPS
Ardilla Camp: West side of the lake, past Lichen Bark,
0.1-mile hike, near flush toilets and water. Capacity
50. Hike-in only.
Venados Camp: East side of the lake, 1.5 miles from
the boat ramp. Leave vehicles in the parking lot near
the concession stand. Capacity 50. Hike-in only.
Hetch Hetchy Camp: This large meadow on the east
side of the lake about one mile from the boat ramp is
well-suited for camporees. Capacity 150. Hike-in only.
Cedar Camp: This camp is about .21 miles from the
park’s southern entrance road. Capacity 50. Hike-in
only.
Wild Turkey Camp: located in the family campground.
Stone fire circle in the amphitheater. Capacity 50.
Punta Vaca: located in the family campground. Less
developed than Wild Turkey Camp. Capacity 75.
Eagles View: Located on the east side, with adjacent
restroom and paved parking. Capacity 50.
RULES
• Pets must be leashed (6-foot maximum leash length) 200 feet from
any trail or park entrance. Pets must be leashed in parking lots,
picnic areas, roads, developed areas such as lawns and play fields,
on some trails, and in posted areas. They must be under voice
control at all times. Dogs are not allowed in swim areas, beaches,
or wetlands. Dogs may be off leash in open space and undeveloped
areas of the park (owners must carry leash at all times). Please clean
up after your dog.
• Alcoholic beverages are not permitted at swim beaches or at swim
facilities, within 50 feet of roadways or parking lots, or in posted
areas. Beer and wine are allowed in other areas of the park.
Visitors are responsible for knowing and complying with park
rules (Ordinance 38), available online at
http://www.ebparks.org/activities/ord38.
