INTRODUCTION
CHALKERS VALE, HURSTPIERPOINT
Chalkers Vale is a select development
of 3, 4 and 5 bedroom homes located in
the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint,
West Sussex.
Hurstpierpoint is pleasantly situated just off the A23
London to Brighton Road. It extends from the South
Downs to the Weald and is renowned for its beautiful
rural setting.
Many of the houses in the village date from the
18th century or even earlier and as a result, the centre
of the village and surrounding area is designated as
a Conservation Area.
The village boasts friendly shops, restaurants, pubs
and tearooms. It has a flourishing community life
with its Village Centre, Library, School and Health
Centre. Holy Trinity Church was built in the middle
of the 19th century and its 130 ft spire is a landmark
visible for miles around.

LOCAL ATTRACTIONS & AMENITIES
Hurstpierpoint is home to a very wide
range of clubs, societies and sports
activities and has several sports and
recreation grounds.
Significant local events such as the St Lawrence Fair
in June each year, and the Hurstpierpoint arts festival
in September, are extremely popular and draw many
visitors into this vibrant community.

and bowls clubs, and many organisations for all ages.
Locally there is a Co-Operative and Budgens
Supermarket with larger brands found just a short
drive away in Burgess Hill and Haywards Heath.
There are several schools in the area. One mile from
the village is Hurstpierpoint College founded in the
last century and with one of the most beautiful chapels
in Sussex. The college spans all school ages, from
preschool to sixth form. There is also the St Lawrence
Church of England Primary school and Hurstpierpoint
The village enjoys an excellent range of quality shops
preschool for younger children, amongst others as well
in the High Street, as well as a cinema, theatre, tennis
as alternatives in nearby Hassocks.

From the M25
Leave the M25 at junction 7 and join the M23
southbound towards Gatwick Airport/Crawley.
Continue to the end of the M23 at Pease Pottage
and join the A23.
Remain on the A23 for 9 miles and take the slip
road exit, at the roundabout take the first exit onto
the A2300 to Burgess Hill.
At the first roundabout take the third exit towards
Goddards Green/Hurstpierpoint (Cuckfield Road).
Continue ahead at the crossroads (The Sportman
Inn on corner).
Continue for a further 1½miles into Hurstpierpoint
and you will find our entrance on the left hand side
(just after the Hurstpierpoint village sign).
