Creedmoor Extension Education Club
Creedmoor Extension
Education Club
The Creedmoor Club was originally founded in 1921 to assist homemakers
in learning how to can vegetables and help support the community. Today, we
continue this tradition through community service, and working together to expand
our interests and knowledge in home and family, health and nutrition, crafts,
gardening and plant care.
Twice a year we tour surrounding towns to get new craft ideas, eat good food and
shop. We participate in Walk Across Texas®, Raise-A-Reader Program, County EEA
Bazaar, County Cultural Arts
Competition, and Awards
Program; donate to Creedmoor
4-H Club; and work at Creedmoor’s Community Center
Mayfest and Oktoberfest.
The club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. For more
Information on meeting dates
and locations call 512-282-1355.
Club members are learning to make teacup pincushions,
and decorative jar toppers, at a club meeting.
