TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALES.
Prices:
The prices of this catalog are suggested public prices. Tax is not included.
Shipping
It is always carried out under FOB terms at Macral Design’s warehouse (Miami), unless otherwise
indicated
Payment:
As a general rule, payment is made in advance at the time of the confirmation of the order.
Delivery time:
Order is normally ready within 24 hours (products in stock) after the confirmation of the order,
unless cases of force majeure or holiday seasons.
Claims for imperfections:
The goods must be checked when unloading. In case any imperfection is found on any item, it must
be communicated to the factory within 3 days from the reception of the goods.
No claims for breakages will be accepted after this time.
Returns:
The orders placed at the factory are deemed to be firm orders. Once the goods have been delivered
as requested, no returns will be admitted without prior consultation.
Property rights:
The products sold are deemed to be the property of Macral Design Corp as far as the purchaser
has paid the full amount. When payment is made using promissory notes or cheques, payment will
not be considered to have been received until duly processed in full and effective payment thereof.
Modifications:
We reserve the right to modify or improve the features, shapes or dimensions of our products
without prior notice.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The application of lacquer on the wood is a complex handmade process which involves aspects
such as room temperature, relative humidity and the level of humidity of the wood itself at the time
of application. Due to this complex process, the colours may vary in tone and/or intensity.
Due to the printing process, the colours that appear in this catalogue should be considered as
approximated. For a better understanding of the colours and finishes, please see the collection
itself.
FIVE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY.
Macral Design Corp. warrants this product for a domestic use for a period of 5 years from the date
of purchase. The invoice is required to obtain the warranty service.
All Macral Design’s products have been manufactured in Spain using quality raw materials and
highly skilled workforce either both in the manufacture of furniture as well as accessories and
fittings.
All solid wood furniture have been treated with fungicides to eliminate the risk of being attacked by
woodworms and similar parasites.
This warranty only covers manufacturing defects and it is applied to the reparation or replacement
of the defective product into another of similar characteristics. It does not include expenses involved in the removal, transportation or reinstallation of the product.
Take into consideration that the substitutive lacquered or painted parts may vary from the color or
the tone of the rest of the parts installed. This change in tone does not constitute default or cause
for complaint.
LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTY:
This warranty is limited to the original purchaser only for residential use and is not transferable
under any circumstances.
It does not cover small marks or differences in color or tone caused by the handmade process of
the painting.
This warranty does not cover any damage to the purchaser or a third party.
In no case this warranty covers damages arising from personal injury, loss of profits, loss of business opportunities, loss of property or any other damage or injury caused by using Macral Design’s
products.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by wear and tear of the product.
This warranty does not cover damages caused by transport, improper storage or exposure to
excessive temperatures, high humidity, or other improper conditions.
It does not cover damage or defects caused by improper installation.
It does not cover defects resulting from misuse, deliberate damage, negligence, accidents or other
defects resulting from poor maintenance.
This warranty does not cover any changes in the tone of the finish due to the exposure of lightning
or other natural and weather related events or wartime environments. Different tones in the wood,
presence of knots and streaks in different shades are not considered product defects.
Natural woods show subtle changes as they age such as small visible cracks at the joints. These
changes are not considered defects and therefore are not covered by this warranty.
As for faucets and accessories, it is only advisable to use mild soap and water for cleaning. The use
of anti-scale and other neutral cleaning products might cause irreparable damages on the chrome
or golden pieces, as well as on the surface of Swarovski crystals set into the pieces.
This warranty does not cover any damage on the chrome caused by improper cleaning. Nor does
it cover damages caused by the action of lime, sandstone, accidental detachment of the hose and
other situations in the normal or inappropriate use of the product.
Macral Design reserves the right to make changes to its products in order to improve them without
prior notification.
CLAIMS:
All claims must be submitted in writing describing the defect along with photos if possible to:

Macral Desing reserves the right to make, if necessary, a visit to assess deeply the claim and
proceed to its solution within 90 days. If the product is determined to be defective, Macral Desing
will repair or replace it.
