DAY 2 ~ MIAMI/CIENFUEGOS/TRINIDAD
IBEROSTAR GRAND HOTEL TRINIDAD. (B,L,D)
Arrive in Cienfuegos in the early afternoon. Appreciate the neoclassical architecture as you walk down the
boulevard, visiting Palacio del Valle, Marti Park, Tomas Terry Theater, and the cathedral. Time permitting,
enjoy a musical performance from a Cienfuegos choir. Continue to Trinidad, where your home for the next
two nights will be the Iberostar Grand Hotel Trinidad, a charming boutique hotel.

DAY 3 ~ TRINIDAD
IBEROSTAR GRAND HOTEL TRINIDAD. (B,L,D)
Stroll Trinidad’s Historical Center (a UNESCO World Heritage site) for a feast of 18th and 19th Century
architecture and visit the small artist-owned galleries that charmingly line the streets of this town. The
beautiful Neo Classical Palacio Cantero is your next destination. The collection on display ranges from works
of art made by slaves to weapons from the struggle for independence. Continue your visit with the Temple
of Yemayá and learn about Santería, a syncretic religion developed among the West African slaves in Cuba.
Just outside of Trinidad is Valle de los Ingenios, or the Valley of the Sugar Mills. Stop by the Manaca-Iznaga
estate and climb the sugar mill’s old tower. Return to Trinidad in the afternoon where your cultural excursion
is to Palenque de los Congos Reales, a place dedicated to Afro-Cuban “Rumba,” some amazing drumming
sessions, and traditional Afro-Cuban ”Orishas” dance.
DAY 4 ~ TRINIDAD/SANTA CLARA/MATANZAS/VARADERO

The geographic heart of Cuba awaits you in the city of Santa Clara, fixed in Cuban memory as the location
of the Battle of Santa Clara in 1958, which precipitated the end of the Batista regime. Stop at the Plaza de la
Revolucion, the final resting place of Che Guevara, then visit a center for venerable Cubans and learn how to
dance the Danzon. Continue on with your drive towards Varadero. The first stop on your tour of the resort
city is the Dupont Mansion. Surrounding the marble-adorned home is exquisite landscaping, a golf course,
and dolphinarium. Next you will visit the similarly fated Josone Park. Home to an immense array of flora
and fauna, the park is now enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Tonight settle in at the Iberostar Varadero.
Adorned with colonial arches, Grecian pillars, and thatched roofs, the beachfront resort embodies the charm
of the Varadero.
DAY 5 ~ VARADERO/MATANZAS

This morning drive to Matanzas, the City of Bridges, located on the northern shore of the island. You will
visit La Ruta del Esclavo Museum, unique in Latin America, former San Severino Castle, a Renaissance-style
Spanish military fort built by slave labor which was used for processing slaves. The museum is dedicated to
maintaining the African legacy, and the roots of Afro-folklore. Stop at the Callejon de las Tradiciones. Located
in Pueblo Nuevo, the Callejon is an outdoor urban collective of artists who are dedicated to preserving the
traditions imported with the slaves, and incorporated into Cuban society. Afterwards, head back to your
hotel to decompress by the pool.
DAY 6 ~ VARADERO/HAVANA

Drive to historic Havana. The first thing you’ll notice in Havana is that the streets are filled with colorful and
bright vintage “Old Styler” American cars. Visit “el Solar” a community project dedicated to restoring one of
centro Habana’s poorest neighborhoods. This project kicked off with the successful creation of a School of
Yoruba Studies for song, dance, and music. Then, visit Callejón de Hamel (Hamel’s Alley) the home of artist
Salvador González Escalona and part of a neighborhood that has become a living work of art. Your home for
the next three nights is the elegant five-star Parque Central Hotel, located in the historical center of the city
of Havana.
DAY 7 ~ HAVANA
HOTEL IBEROSTAR PARQUE CENTRAL. (B,L,D)
Today visit the necropolis Cristobal Colon, considered by many the most ornate necropolis in the world. It
is a Catholic cemetery that reflects the Latin root of Cuban culture. Built in 1876, its tombs and statues are
hailed as true works of art. Walk the halls of the Guanabacoa Museum known for exhibiting pieces in relation
to the Afro-Cuban culture, tradition and religion. Visit the tiny Church of Nuestra Señora de Regla, the black
Madonna venerated in the Catholic faith and associated in the Santeria religion with Yemayá, the orisa (spirit)
of the ocean and the patron of sailors. Be transported back in time as you ride in a vintage American car along
the famous Malecon, the seaside boulevard which stretches through historic areas of the city until the Morro
Fortress.
DAY 8 ~ HAVANA

After breakfast, visit the the National Schools of Art. These buildings are considered to be one of the most
outstanding architectural achievements of the Cuban Revolution. The rest of your afternoon is dedicated to
the surreal world of Fusterlandandia, a neighborhood covered in the tile work of the Gaudi-inspired artist,
José Rodriguez Fuster.
DAY 9 ~ HAVANA/MIAMI/LOS ANGELES

Time to return home this morning, as you will be transferred to the airport for your return flight home,

Inc., 58-25 Queens Blvd., Woodside NY, 11377. You may consider your booking confirmed when you receive a
confirmation notice and invoice from us.
RATES: Rates are based on the minimum number of guests outlined in this document, plus airfare costs, currency
exchange rates and other factors and are subject to change. Though it is rare for Classic Escapes to make a price
adjustment after promotion of an itinerary, we do reserve the right to assess a surcharge if the minimum is not met,
or if increases are forced upon us by airlines or other partners or because of changes in currency exchange rates.

emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage/theft/loss of personal baggage,
money and goods. Classic Escapes, including their representatives, employees and agents will take no responsibility
for any costs, losses incurred or suffered by the guest, or guest’s dependants or traveling companions, with regards
to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant
service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to access
such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover. Information regarding insurance will be sent
upon receipt of reservation form.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Neither Classic Escapes (the Company) nor any person or agent acting for, through or on behalf
of the Company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without
restricting the generality of the aforegoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any
errors or omissions contained in its brochure or other literature, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, theft,
injury or death. In addition the Company shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any trip or the
remainder thereof or make any alteration in route, accommodation, price or other details and, in the event of any
trip being rendered impossible, illegal or inadvisable by weather, strike, war, government or interference or any other
cause whatsoever, the extra expenses incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger. The
Company may at its discretion and without liability or cost to itself at any time cancel or terminate the guest’s booking
and in particular without limiting the generality of the aforegoing it shall be entitled to do so in the event of the illness

DAY 4 ~ TRINIDAD/SANTA CLARA/MATANZAS/VARADERO

The geographic heart of Cuba awaits you in the city of Santa Clara, fixed in Cuban memory as the location
of the Battle of Santa Clara in 1958, which precipitated the end of the Batista regime. Stop at the Plaza de la
Revolucion, the final resting place of Che Guevara, then visit a center for venerable Cubans and learn how to
dance the Danzon. Continue on with your drive towards Varadero. The first stop on your tour of the resort
city is the Dupont Mansion. Surrounding the marble-adorned home is exquisite landscaping, a golf course,
and dolphinarium. Next you will visit the similarly fated Josone Park. Home to an immense array of flora
and fauna, the park is now enjoyed by locals and tourists alike. Tonight settle in at the Iberostar Varadero.
Adorned with colonial arches, Grecian pillars, and thatched roofs, the beachfront resort embodies the charm
of the Varadero.
DAY 5 ~ VARADERO/MATANZAS

This morning drive to Matanzas, the City of Bridges, located on the northern shore of the island. You will
visit La Ruta del Esclavo Museum, unique in Latin America, former San Severino Castle, a Renaissance-style
Spanish military fort built by slave labor which was used for processing slaves. The museum is dedicated to
maintaining the African legacy, and the roots of Afro-folklore. Stop at the Callejon de las Tradiciones. Located
in Pueblo Nuevo, the Callejon is an outdoor urban collective of artists who are dedicated to preserving the
traditions imported with the slaves, and incorporated into Cuban society. Afterwards, head back to your
hotel to decompress by the pool.
DAY 6 ~ VARADERO/HAVANA
HOTEL IBEROSTAR PARQUE CENTRAL. (B,L)
Drive to historic Havana. The first thing you’ll notice in Havana is that the streets are filled with colorful and
bright vintage “Old Styler” American cars. Visit “el Solar” a community project dedicated to restoring one of
centro Habana’s poorest neighborhoods. This project kicked off with the successful creation of a School of
Yoruba Studies for song, dance, and music. Then, visit Callejón de Hamel (Hamel’s Alley) the home of artist
Salvador González Escalona and part of a neighborhood that has become a living work of art. Your home for
the next three nights is the elegant five-star Parque Central Hotel, located in the historical center of the city
of Havana.
DAY 7 ~ HAVANA
HOTEL IBEROSTAR PARQUE CENTRAL. (B,L,D)
Today visit the necropolis Cristobal Colon, considered by many the most ornate necropolis in the world. It
is a Catholic cemetery that reflects the Latin root of Cuban culture. Built in 1876, its tombs and statues are
hailed as true works of art. Walk the halls of the Guanabacoa Museum known for exhibiting pieces in relation
to the Afro-Cuban culture, tradition and religion. Visit the tiny Church of Nuestra Señora de Regla, the black
Madonna venerated in the Catholic faith and associated in the Santeria religion with Yemayá, the orisa (spirit)
of the ocean and the patron of sailors. Be transported back in time as you ride in a vintage American car along
the famous Malecon, the seaside boulevard which stretches through historic areas of the city until the Morro
Fortress.
DAY 8 ~ HAVANA
HOTEL IBEROSTAR ENSENACHOS. (B,L,D)
After breakfast, visit the the National Schools of Art. These buildings are considered to be one of the most
outstanding architectural achievements of the Cuban Revolution. The rest of your afternoon is dedicated to
the surreal world of Fusterlandandia, a neighborhood covered in the tile work of the Gaudi-inspired artist,
José Rodriguez Fuster.
DAY 9 ~ HAVANA/MIAMI/LOS ANGELES

HOW TO BOOK: Fill out and sign the reservation form and send it, along with the deposit of $750, to Classic Escapes
Inc., 58-25 Queens Blvd., Woodside NY, 11377. You may consider your booking confirmed when you receive a
confirmation notice and invoice from us.
RATES: Rates are based on the minimum number of guests outlined in this document, plus airfare costs, currency
exchange rates and other factors and are subject to change. Though it is rare for Classic Escapes to make a price
adjustment after promotion of an itinerary, we do reserve the right to assess a surcharge if the minimum is not met,
or if increases are forced upon us by airlines or other partners or because of changes in currency exchange rates.

INSURANCE: We highly recommend that guests carry comprehensive travel and medical insurance to cover
themselves, as well as any dependants/traveling companions, for the duration of their trip. This insurance should
include coverage in respect of, but not limited to, the following eventualities: cancellation or curtailment of the trip,
emergency evacuation expenses, medical expenses, repatriation expenses, damage/theft/loss of personal baggage,
money and goods. Classic Escapes, including their representatives, employees and agents will take no responsibility
for any costs, losses incurred or suffered by the guest, or guest’s dependants or traveling companions, with regards
to, but not limited to, any of the above mentioned eventualities. Guests will be charged directly by the relevant
service providers for any emergency services they may require, and may find themselves in a position unable to access
such services should they not be carrying the relevant insurance cover. Information regarding insurance will be sent
upon receipt of reservation form.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Neither Classic Escapes (the Company) nor any person or agent acting for, through or on behalf
of the Company shall be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever arising from any cause whatsoever and without
restricting the generality of the aforegoing shall particularly not be responsible for loss or damage arising from any
errors or omissions contained in its brochure or other literature, loss or damage caused by delays, sickness, theft,
injury or death. In addition the Company shall have the right at any time at its discretion to cancel any trip or the
remainder thereof or make any alteration in route, accommodation, price or other details and, in the event of any
trip being rendered impossible, illegal or inadvisable by weather, strike, war, government or interference or any other
cause whatsoever, the extra expenses incurred as a result thereof shall be the responsibility of the passenger. The
Company may at its discretion and without liability or cost to itself at any time cancel or terminate the guest’s booking
and in particular without limiting the generality of the aforegoing it shall be entitled to do so in the event of the illness
or the illegal or incompatible behavior of the guest, who shall in such circumstances not be entitled to any refund.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellations are only effective on receipt of written notification. The following per person fees are
applicable on this tour:
• Up to February 17, 2017, less $300 handling fee.
• February 17 to March 9, 2017, deposit is forfeited.
• March 10 to March 19, 2017, less 75% of tour cost.
• After March 19, 2017, no refund is possible.
