Letter from our President,,,
Cumberland
County Board of
Realtors 74th Year!
As we say farewell to summer and welcome a beautiful
fall, I think we are actually feeling the beginning of a
better market. We were so lucky the $8,000 dollar tax
credit was granted, it really saved our industry. Please
remember to go to
http://takeaction.realtoractioncenter.com/campaign/
hbtc/forward/ you can go to this site and petition to
extend the tax credit.
I would like to congratulate all of the past presidents of our board, for
their continued support and dedication. It was my honor to recognize
them on September 22, 2009 at our annual past president’s dinner at
Merighi’s Savoy Inn. They are all the backbone of our board, each
helped in their own personal way to help make our board what we are
today.
I would also like to congratulate the new slate of officers who will be
serving our board in 2010, President, Evelyn Schweibinz; President Elect,
Dennis Gaggini; Vice President, Michele Kelley; Treasurer, Rosie Smith
and Secretary, Larry Depalma, Donna Lupi, Stephanie Verderose and
Eda Shannon will be continuing their positions as Directors. I will
continue my journey as your State Director.
I hope you all enjoy this fall and I wish you a prosperous final quarter of
2009.
