The Haugh PAC is doing something new this year.
We are kicking off our season by participating in the
opening of Gumby Fest 2015 with a unique blend of
film and concert. The five members of Hot Club play
what’s known as gypsy jazz swing against a backdrop
of some of the earliest stop-motion animated films.
The evening includes two films by the pre-WWI
European pioneer of stop-motion animation,
Ladislaw Starewicz: The Cameraman’s Revenge, a
charming piece about the marital troubles of
beetles; and The Mascot, an adventure story about
lost toys. Also included is American Charley Bowers’
film, There It Is, a whimsical comedy about a
mysterious occurrence investigated by Scotland Yard.

YES! YES! YES!
Tickets: $36
Student/Senior: $32 16 & under: $15
What if Spike Jones ran into Monty Python and they all happened to be classically trained brass musicians? You'd have
Mnozil Brass! The talented and extremely funny group, Mnozil (pronounced NOT–zil) Brass takes their name from the
“Gasthaus Mnozil,” a restaurant across the street from the Vienna Conservatory, where in 1992, seven young brass
musicians met and began playing together. Since then, the group has embraced repertoire for all ages and stages of life:
from folk to classical to jazz to pop; all executed with the same fearlessness and immense technical skill.

SINATRA CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION
TOM DREESEN
An Afternoon of
Laughter and Stories of Sinatra
Tickets: $36 Student/Senior: $34
Frank Sinatra’s 100th birthday is December 12, 2015. Many celebrations are taking
place across America, but what better way to celebrate this artist than with the man
who opened for Sinatra for 13 years. Dreesen, who has made over 500 appearances on
national television as a stand-up comedian, would watch Sinatra from the wings every
performance. Dreesen’s fondest memories of spending time with Sinatra are both
personal and intimate, and in an afternoon filled with funny jokes–clean the way
Sinatra wanted–he graciously shares many poignant stories about being on the road
with the Chairman of the Board that you won’t hear anyplace else.

BETTMAN & HALPIN
Tickets: $30 Student/Senior: $25
16 & under: $15
Bettman and Halpin are taking the folk
music world by storm! Known for her strong
vocals, story-telling lyrics, and expert fiddling,
Stephanie Bettman pairs her songwriting
talent with Luke Halpin's skilled mandolin,
guitar, and banjo playing, as well as his
dynamic tenor vocals to create a chillingly
beautiful harmony blend. As a vocalist,
Bettman has drawn comparisons to
Emmylou Harris, Joan Baez, and Alison
Krauss. Halpin’s quirky sense of humor
proves the perfect foil for her dry wit. They
perform an engaging mixture of folk, roots,
bluegrass, and Americana with transcendent
harmonies and roof-raising instrumentals
and are quickly earning a reputation for
mesmerizing performances.

pop music. Close to You brings these classics
back to the stage with spot-on renditions
performed by singer Lisa Rock and her 6-piece
band. Dedicated to re-creating the true sound
of The Carpenters, Lisa Rock showcases some

STORM LARGE & LE BONHEUR
Taken By Storm: Songs of Seduction and Obsession
Tickets: $34 Student/Senior: $30
Sexy, sassy, charming, and quick-witted, Storm Large brings down the house every time
she steps on stage. She has been making a name for herself as one of the singers of Pink
Martini and on stage at Carnegie Hall performing Kurt Weill compositions with The
Detroit Symphony. But it is with her band, Le Bonheur, that she has been grabbing
audiences by the lapels. She is a vocalist whose iconoclastic talent defies the laws of
nature. Ms. Large sings the American songbook, Broadway tear-jerkers, and some of
her own gorgeous originals, all delivered with a fierce personal commitment. You
will be swept away by the voice, beauty, and visceral talent of Storm Large.

THE von TRAPPS
Tickets: $34 Student/Senior: $30 16 & under: $15
You cannot find another name as universally
beloved as von Trapp. The story of the family
who escaped Austria, moved to the United
States, and toured the world singing for two
decades has inspired generations since the
film The Sound of Music was released in
1964. The history continues as the great
grandchildren of the Captain and Maria von
Trapp take up the family tradition anew. Meet
Sofia, Melanie, Amanda, and August von Trapp,
four siblings who, for the last 12 years, have
been singing on stages around the world to
critical acclaim and packed houses. After many
years of extensive touring, the von Trapps
completed a collaborative album with Thomas
Lauderdale and Pink Martini. Emboldened by
that collaboration, The von Trapps are off
to trailblaze a new musical path.

The whole family will delight in this high-flying musical, fresh from
Broadway performed by our talented Citrus students. It’s the beloved story of practically perfect nanny Mary Poppins, who
floats over London’s chimneys into Cherry Tree Lane, stirring up the winds of change for the upstanding but unhappy Banks
family. Anything can happen as Mary and the Chim-Chiminey-sweep Bert, step in time through a jolly holiday with the Banks
children, Jane and Michael, in which Mary’s magic transforms ordinary virtues into extraordinary values. She helps the
children, their parents, and all of us, learn to take our medicine with a spoonful of sugar, find the silver lining in every
situation, and realize that sometimes we should just use the winds of change to go fly a kite.

Citrus TheatreWorks is a unique
experience that will allow our students
to explore a variety of theatre genres.
Anything is possible from digging deep
and performing works by a single
playwright to combining alumni with
current students to produce a piece of
theatre as an ensemble (a musical
revue, an original/experimental piece,
etc.). Each year can bring something
different. It allows our students to
participate and learn about the creative
process. Come see what we do!

In a galaxy far, far away, twins Luke
and Lea, separated in a galactic fight
with the empire, struggle to be
reunited on the distant planet of
Tatooine. Disguising herself as a
man, Lea becomes a servant in
the household of Count Han Solo.
Meanwhile, Han Solo, smitten with
the Padmé Amidala, seeks the hand
of the fair princess. Come experience
Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night as you
have never heard told in a story of
mistaken identity, unrequited love,
and a world turned upside down.
