Basic Camp Guidelines
* Bicycles are welcomed! Please be sure
to bring your safety gear and younger
children need to be supervised.
* Camp quiet hours 11:30PM - 7:00AM
* No bike riding after 9:00PM and during
registration time Fri. (6:00 - 7:30PM)
* No smoking
* No unattended fires

What To Bring
Bring your Bible, notebook, bedding
(linens, towels, etc), swimming attire, sports
equipment, and personal items. Pillows and
blankets are provided in motel rooms but
not in cabins. Don’t forget your favorite
Card/Board Games to play together.

Dr. Darrell Pearson teaches
youth ministry at Eastern
University in St Davids,
PA, where his primary
roles are to chair the
department, advise students
in internships, and teach
classes in practical ministry
skills. He was a long time
middle school pastor at
First Presbyterian in Colorado Springs, Colorado, spent a
decade presenting youth events with an organization he started
called “Wild Truth,” and is currently the part time youth
director at Evangelical Formosan Chuch of Philadelphia where
he works with Chinese American teenagers. He has written
a number of books for youth leaders, including junior high
curriculum materials for Zondervan, Gospel Light, and David
C. Cook. His very first book was “Parents as Partners in Youth
Ministry,” which defined his belief in the direct involvment of
parents in their church’s youth ministry. He lives in Malvern,
PA, with his wife Erlene. They have three daughters ranging in
age from 19 to 27, and enjoy home restoration and gardening
projects.
