CUSTOMER: REFERENCE: 5618 WARMING CABINET PRODUCT SPECIFICATION PRODUCT A unique 18'' deep recessed warming cabinet with “look-in” tempered glass doors into two separate, independently controlled, convection heated chambers. Ideal for installation along with recessed stainless steel OR cabinets. Temperature range in each compartment is adjustable from 90°F (32°C) to 160°F (71°C) and is provided with a “lock-in” feature to prevent unauthorized changes to the temperature settings. APPLICATION The Getinge 5618 Warming Cabinet is designed for the warm storage of saline solutions and/or blankets used in the care of patients in areas such as surgery, recovery, OB/GYN, ICU or ER. Note: This product is not to be used for the storage of blood or blood products. STANDARDS AND CODES This warming cabinet has been designed to conform to the requirements of: • NFPA70 • ETL Listed to UL-544 • CETL Listed to CSA C22.2 No. 151 • California Seismic Anchoring Requirements CONTROLS The control panel for each compartment is located conveniently at eye level in the door frame of the compartment being controlled. Page 2 of 4 Page 3 of 4 CONSTRUCTION The cabinet unit is double walled, type 304 stainless steel construction. Insulation is provided to conserve energy and insure that the exterior surface temperature does not exceed 120°F (49°C). Doors are tempered glass panes framed with type 304 stainless steel. Temperature of glass panes does not exceed 120°F. SERVICING Control components are mounted in the rear of the upper compartment, permitting convenient service access from the front of the unit. Similar provisions are made for easy removal of fans, heater elements and control boards from each compartment. Consequently, the actual product may differ slightly from the product pictured and described here. Heated air is circulated over the load by fans, located in each of the two compartments. The heated air is distributed evenly over the load, achieving convection heating. The upper compartment is capable of holding 15 two-liter square flasks or a quantity of blankets. Two adjustable shelves are provided in the lower compartment which can hold 45 two-liter square flasks or a quantity of blankets. Once the selected temperature is attained, it will be controlled throughout within 10°F (5.5°C) of the selected temperature. A full load of two-liter flasks in the upper compartment will be heated to 110°F within 8 hours or less. In the event of a power loss, once power is restored the unit will indicate a power loss has occurred and resume its prepower loss state. * Applies only to Domestic U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canadian shipments.
