Introduction
Based in Dublin Ireland, XEROSUN are a band
that create a unique, explosive and energetic
metal driven by the eclectic mix of influences of
its members. With a huge following in Ireland and
a fast growing fan base in the US, UK and Europe,
the quintet are finding themselves being offered to
expand their hor izons and play to a wider audience.
They are a fully mobile act with top notch equipment,
professional backline and their own transport
and are ready to play anywhere in the world.

their debut album “Absence of Light”, the newly
released EP “Seek The Blood” and forthcoming
second album “In The Presence of Darkness”.

Biography
XEROSUN are a five piece metal band based in
Dublin, Ireland. They are composed of Fiachra
Kelly
(Guitars), Gareth Jeffs (Guitars), Damian
Dziennik (Drums), Martyna Halas-Yeates (Vocals)
and David Kuchař (Bass). With an eclectic mix of
influences and producing a melodic, powerful,
aggressive
and
original
sound,
XEROSUN
effortlessly fuse various genres of metal, carving
themselves a unique niche in modern metal.
With relentles s gigging in Ireland, Northern
Ireland and the UK, the band have crafted
a very strong stage presence earning them
offers of supports with the likes of Blaze
Bailey,
Coilguns, In This Moment, Soulfly,
Xerath and the mighty Avenged Sevenfold.
2011 saw the release of their
debut album “Absence of Light”,
with artwork by Seth Siro
Anton (Paradise Lost, Sybreed,

Kamelot).

Following the success of the album, XEROSUN
began
touring
throughout
2012
&
landing
support slots with big name acts. By 2013, the
band experienced several line-up changes & a
change in musical direction to a heavier sound.
In 2014 the band began by
writing new tracks & recording
a professional video. Work on
album 2 progressed into 2015,
& touring resumed. October
saw the release of the much
anticipated “Seek The Blood”

is a taster of the new album
“In The Presence of Darkness”, which is a concept
album based on the Craigslist killer, Miranda
Barbour. Currently in pre-production, it’s set for
release in the first quarter of 2016 and scheduled
tours of Ireland, UK and Europe are in planning.

Epilogue
In this day and age, good music is no longer enough. A strong work ethos, good connections,
and a clearly visible presence in the wider community are also a must. XEROSUN have been
forging inroads into these areas, expanding their fan base and forging new work relationships
with both industry and their peers.
To prove they can duplicate their album sound on stage, they recorded and filmed one of their
gigs and produced a DVD with many of the songs from this DVD available for viewing on the
band’s youtube site. They filmed and produced three videos in support of their debut album and
are in discussions for more.
Two North American sports promotional companies are using their tracks on commercial DVDs
for Pool Trick Shots and White Water Rafting. XEROSUN’s album “Absence of Light” is provid ing the full soundtrack on a Welsh indie movie, “Zombies From Ireland”, written and directed by
Ryan Kift . Their music has been covered on youtube by fans and had a track remixed by popular
Wel sh DJ, Phil Jones AKA “Dr wUw” became a huge hit on the Welsh club scene.
Proving their worth as a viable commodity, XEROSUN have secured several equipment endorse ments from large companies across the world. Progressive working relationships now exist with
all their endorsement companies, with both parties proudly promoting each other.
Not content to ride the wave of the well-received and critically acclaimed debut album “Absence
of Light”, in October 2015 Xerosun released a new EP “Seek the Blood” and are currently in preproduction for a new full length album titled “In The Presence of Darkness”, due for release in
2016.
Many videos can be found of the band performing live in a variety of venues and festivals. They
also produce high-production professional videos, lyric videos and play through videos, all of
which are available through their social media outlets.
The band believes that they will only succeed by hard work and strong grass roots support, re lentless gigging, public appearances and a strong online presence. XEROSUN remain committed
to their fans and consistently deliver high quality songs backed up by energetic and emotive live
performances. A strong and committed country-wide street team help ensure that the XEROSUN
camp is always in touch with the fanbase.
