Exporting a Transaction History Report
About this guide
This guide takes you through the process of exporting a transaction history report. Transaction history is equivalent
to statement information.
Printing a Reporting Group
1. Open your internet browser, visit www.commbiz.com.au and log in to CommBiz.
2. On the top menu, click File Transfer > Export.
3. On the lefthand menu, click Request Transaction History File.
4. The Request Transaction History File page is displayed.
5. Select Accounts, Pooling Facilities or Reporting Groups from the Transaction Information to Export list. For the
example screens shown in this guide we have chosen Accounts.

6. Click the Search button. The items that are available to export will appear in the Available For Export field
(account numbers will appear by default if a selection was not made).
7. Select the items you want to export, then click
button.

Note: To select more than one item at a time, hold down the Ctrl key click the double right arrow. You can select a maximum of 10 accounts. If you need Transaction History information for more than 10 accounts, you will need to use Reporting Groups or Pooling Facilities.
Choosing the processing date
8. By default, the processing date is the last business day, but you can select an exact date or a date range.
Exact: select an individual date from the calendar popup.
Choosing the file type
9. Three files types are available:
(a) BAl2 is a standard Bank format for cash management reporting.
(b) QIF is Quicken Interchange Format for use with Quicken accounting software.
(c) PDF documents can be read and printed with free Adobe software.
Note: The example below is for a PDF file but the process is the same for each file type.
10.Choose PDF from the dropdown list of file types, then click the Request File button.
11.The Export Advice screen is displayed, including a receipt number.
12.Click on the Export File Status List link to view the list of generated files.

13.To view, print or save the file, click on the link under File Name and this pop-up box will be displayed.
14.If you click Open, the file will be opened by your default image viewer and you can then save or print it.
15.If you click Save, you will be prompted to save the file to a location on your computer.
