Summer Extravaganza A wonderful time was had by all at our Summer Extravaganza! Over 130 residents gathered to celebrate the completion of our irrigation system around the main entrance and circle. The food and drinks were plentiful and the music, provided by resident DJ Walter Rodriguez was fun and fabulous! The theme was “Green.” The center table was decorated in “green grass” and had wheel barrels, pails and baskets holding the appetizers and dips. Watering cans held water and iced tea. A beautiful collage of pictures of “Ridgefield Through the Years” was put together by the committee and is hanging in the main room of the clubhouse. Stop by and check it out. A special thank you to the Extravaganza sub-committee for all of their hard work and effort in putting together such a successful event! Members of the committee include Tony Cucchi, Nicole Revis, Lauren Richards, Jan Lindbloom, Mary Wetherbee, Sue Gurley, Robert Dion, Pat Perry and Joan Michalski. Thank you to Grounds committee members Lydia Velez and Carol Dennington, Public Relations committee member Joan Nierintz for partnering with the committee and helping during the event. Thanks also to Mary Cucchi and Linda Roberts for selling raffle tickets which raised $836 to start our fundraising efforts for the installation of a well to provide water for the irrigati on system. Raffle prizes were donated by local and not so local businesses in support of our event and efforts! Please see ads enclosed and support the businesses who gave so generously.
