Using the 3Doodler and stencils of these eloquent patterns, individuals will

of type design - the whole process from creating the brief,
which defines the purpose of a typeface. The workshop
will introduce the Arabic calligraphic stroke and its impact

Through the workshop every participant will be able to
complete a simple exercise, by sketching some letters
that follow a certain brief.

The most basic study of line and how it can form a shape
will be explored with the 3Doodler by creating 3D portraits.
Using a continuous line to create 1 piece of artwork is a
very powerful way to create a piece that is both hard edged
and fluid, representational and abstract, rational and
emotional all in one. These 3Doodler sculptures can be
attached to a two-dimensional frame or a flat surface, hung
in the air, or be left free-standing, changing in appearance
as a viewer moves around the room..
