What to bring: Weather conditions are unpredictable, especially near the ocean. It is a good idea to bring a sweatshirt and rain repellent jacket. Also bring a compact umbrella, binoculars, a camera and a bathing suit, since some hotels have pools. Border Crossing: The following regulations apply for travel into the United States. All Canadian citizens entering the U.S. by land or air, must have a passport. Non-citizen residents of Canada, or visitors to Canada, are required to have either a Permanent Resident Card, or to obtain a temporary entry visa prior to the trip (this will help to avoid any time consuming delays at the border). Conditions of Travel: It is expected that all passengers are able to operate independently or be accompanied by a qualified assistant. Smoking and use of alcohol are not permitted on the motorcoach. Verstraete Travel reserves the right to terminate the trip of any member whose conduct is detrimental to the well-being of other passengers. In such a case no refund will be given, and the return fare will be at the person's expense. Insurance: Verstraete Travel recommends the purchase of trip cancellation insurance as well as out-of-country health insurance. On the registration form, indicate your interest in purchasing such insurance and an agent will call to give you a quote. Tour Cancellation/Cut-off Date: Verstraete Travel reserves the right to cancel any tour no later than 30 days before departure, and it will have no other responsibility beyond refunding all fares paid to it by passengers. The cut-off date for joining each tour is stated in the brochure. A deposit is required to hold space, and bookings are made on a first-come basis. Please reserve early to avoid disappointment. Payment/Cancellation Policy: For motorcoach tours, a *non-refundable deposit of $300.00 per person is required at the time of booking, along with a completed registration form. Check brochure for final payment dates. In case of cancellation the following conditions apply: *1. Prior to deposit date, a full refund less $150.00 will be given. 2. From deposit date to 31 days before departure, the charge is 60% of the tour price. 3. Under 31 days prior to departure, no refund will be given.
