HSE POLICY
Our policy is to conduct our business in a manner which ensures the health, safety
and welfare of our employees.
Our policy also extends to our clients, contractors and members of the public that
may be affected by our activities.
In all cases the manner in which we plan and execute our activities will comply
with the appropriate requirements.
Our goals and objectives with regard to health and safety management are to:
 Provide a safe and healthy workplace that will protect people, property
and the environment.
 Ensure that all staff and contractors are given adequate training,
supervision and information necessary for them to carry out their tasks
safely and with minimum risk to their health.
 Proactively identify, minimize and where practicable, eliminate any
hazards and risk that may be associated with our business activities.
 Actively promote a positive attitude throughout the business with
regard to ownership and continual improvement of our Health and
Safety Management System.
 Monitor and measure the continued effectiveness of our Health and
Safety Management System by auditing and review.

HEALTH POLICY
GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD. recognizes that work may result in occupational
illnesses and acknowledges that it is essential that early recognition of health
hazards is established, monitored and controlled.
Adequate PPE’s will be provided to contain and control the health hazards.
The company encourages employees to participate in First Aid training programs
and bears the cost of such trainings. It places great emphasis on the promotion of
the total health concept.
Regular medical examination would be encouraged. Company is to use a retainer
ship Clinic where staff must be medically certified before work engagement and
for handling any other medical exigencies.

SAFETY POLICY
It is the policy of the company to carry out its activities in an ethical and socially
responsible manner that the life of all employees and other persons who may be
affected in our operations are safe-guarded.
To maintain a high degree of safety standard, GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD.
assists in developing all her staff in Health, Safety, Environment and Security
awareness in accordance with the Client’s HSE policies, procedures and standards.
For all jobs, detailed safety procedures are written.
In order to ensure the attainment of an enviable performance, the following
operational strategies will always be put in place:
 Site inspections will be performed at the work place.
 All the hazards and effects will be identified and control put in place before
job commencement.
 Prompt reporting and investigation of accidents/near-miss. Learning points
to be communicated to the staff and monitored for compliance.
 Constant emergency drills will be carried out to prepare the workers for
prompt response against emergency situations.

ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT POLICY
The company environmental management policy shall comply with DPR and FMEnv
guidelines on environmental management in Nigeria.
GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD. aim is to minimize any impact the work activities might
have on personnel and work environment.

SECURITY POLICY
In order to ensure an adequate provision for the security of personnel,
equipment and materials in all our operations, GODDIE CHEMICAL
INTERNATIONAL LIMITED maintains a combined team of trained security
guards.
This security provision is not limited to Project Sites alone, but is also
extended to all equipment, persons and materials in transit.
Independent security training shall be organized from time to time to update
the workers on security measures and strategies.
Adequate security devices shall be provided in project vehicles and other
transport equipment.
All security defaults shall be reported, investigated and action taken to prevent
re-occurrence.

COMMUNITY RELATIONS POLICY
GODDIE CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED holds it a policy to
maintain good relationship with the communities within which will operates.
It shall be the responsibility of the Community Relation’s Team to liaise with
the Host Communities in order to ensure a trouble-free atmosphere to carry
out her operations.
GODDIE CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is aware that no matter
how well written a policy is, it’s implementation and success lies squarely on
both the management and individual worker’s effort, therefore the cooperation
of everyone is required to achieve this noble target.

DISCIPLINARY POLICY
It is the policy of the company that the HSE regulations which is consistent
with the Client’s policies are strictly adhered to by the GODDIE CHEMICALS
INTERNATIONAL LIMITED employees.
However, the company will not hesitate to discipline any staff who violates
the company’s laid down HSE rules and regulations.

The management of GODDIE CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED is
committed to ensuring a good access control in its area of operations to check
security risks.

SEAT BELT POLICY
It is the policy of GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD to ensure that all
vehicles used for all operations must be fitted with front and rear seatbelts
which must be used by drivers and all passengers, pick-up vans, mini-buses,
etc.

HSE INCENTIVE SCHEME POLICY
The management of GODDIE CHEMICALS INTERNATIONAL LIMITED recognizes
the place of staff motivation in enhancing HSE performance.
As a result, various HSE Incentive Schemes shall be operated to stimulate staff
interest in HSE compliance and adherence.
To motivate employees maintain high HSE standard, an award is given to
employees who are chosen on a monthly basis for being the most safety conscious
staff.
The choice is based on the achievement of the following HSE Milestones:
a. Driver who drives for one year without Accident.
b. Personnel found to be safety conscious, good housekeeping practice among
other things.
c. Personnel who submit the highest number of reasonable or thoughtprovoking observation cards monthly/quarterly.

QUALITY POLICY
GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD basically engages in DRILLING CHEMICAL,
OILFIELD CHEMICALS AND WELL COMPLETION CHEMICALS SUPPLY.
CHEMICAL STOCKINGS AND DITRIBUTION.
With reference to the nature of our operations, utmost importance is attached to
conformance of our services with international acceptable standard of quality. Hence
the primary objective of GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD. is to provide services
which conform to client’s quality requirements and international standards.
The Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) Department has the full support of the
management of the company to implement the measures outlined in this Quality Assurance
and in specific projects Quality Assurance Plans.
It is recognized that the achievement of a satisfactory standard of quality is the
responsibility of all personnel involved in the work execution not solely that of QA/QC
personnel. Therefore, it is mandatory for all GODDIE CHEMICALS INT’L LTD. personnel
to adhere strictly to the quality requirements as outlined in the manual and other related
quality procedures and plans.
