CANTOR FITZGERALD AND ITS AFFILIATE, BGC PARTNERS, RAISED APPROXIMATELY
$12 MILLION ON CHARITY DAY 2014 TO SUPPORT CHARITIES AROUND THE WORLD.
Cantor Fitzgerald and its affiliate, BGC Partners, each year commemorate our 658 Cantor and 61 Eurobroker
employees lost in the 9/11 World Trade Center attacks by donating all revenues on Charity Day to charities
around the world. In conjunction with Cantor Fitzgerald and BGC Partners, The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund
is a proud sponsor of Charity Day. Since its inception, Charity Day has raised approximately $113 million.
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund was founded in the wake of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on
the World Trade Center. Initially created to assist family member of Cantor employees, the Relief Fund has
expanded its mission to provide aid to victims of terrorism, natural disasters, and other emergencies, and
has raised and distributed over $280 million.
Many distinguished guests joined us in our New York office on Charity Day 2014, including actors Jake
Gyllenhaal, Ben Stiller, Michelle Williams, Ed Burns, Steve Buscemi, Michael J. Fox, Idina Menzel, and Gina

Each anniversary is a poignant occasion for us. On Charity Day we support many worthwhile charities around

9/11 Memorial Museum
The mission of the 9/11 Memorial Museum, located at the World
Trade Center site, is to bear solemn witness to the terrorist
attacks of September 11, 2001 and February 26, 1993. The
Museum honors the nearly 3,000 victims of these attacks and all
those who risked their lives to save others. It further recognizes
the thousands who survived and all who demonstrated
extraordinary compassion in the aftermath. Demonstrating
the consequences of terrorism on individual lives and its
impact on communities at the local, national, and international
levels, the Museum attests to the triumph of human dignity over
human depravity and affirms an unwavering commitment to the
fundamental value of human life.

Women of Tomorrow is specifically designed to meet the

About the Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund
Founded in the wake of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks on the World
Trade Center, the Relief Fund has raised and distributed $280 million to over
800 families and 932 children of the victims of that tragedy. The Relief Fund’s
expanded scope has included such natural disasters as the devastation
caused by the tornado in Moore, Oklahoma, Superstorm Sandy, Hurricane
Katrina, the tsunami of 2004, the earthquake in Haiti and events in Japan
as well as assisting wounded members of our military. In addition, the Cantor
Fitzgerald Relief Fund supports a wide variety of other charitable organizations
providing assistance to those in need.
The Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund is unique in that it often provides direct
assistance directly to the people affected by these tragedies without
intermediary or secondary organizational involvement. Cantor Fitzgerald
Chairman and CEO Howard Lutnick and the partners of Cantor Fitzgerald
