Spring is off to a great start as flowers are
blossoming in LA Sports Gym. Every day new
skills are being achieved just as our teams are
climbing to great heights. Nationals are
underway for our finals competitions, which
includes The One, located in New Orleans, as well
as the Cheerleading Worlds in Orlando, Florida.
Now is the best time to be a
part of the LA Sports Gym
family.
With summer quickly
approaching, athletes have
already begun working on
their new skills for the
2016-2017 competition season.
Want to bring your skills to
new heights? Book a private
lesson with one of our USASF certified coaches to
get your skills being the best that they can be.
Keep a look out for some of our summer camps
that are approaching that specialize in tumbling,
jumps, and stunting. These camps will be offered
during the months of June and July.

GOTR Bayou Region is conducting a shoe collection drive to raise funds
for expansion of our program further into the Bayou Region and to
provide scholarships for local, underprivileged girls. We will earn funds
based on the number of pairs collected. Help us reach our goal of 7500
pairs of shoes! Any style, any size! Men’s or women’s shoes!

All Star - Nicole Marmande: Nicole is an amazing athlete
and it shows at every practice. With being on two
teams, she manages to come to every practice while
striving to be the best she can be.
Elite - Caroline Ross: Caroline is a great student who truly
works hard in every cheer elite class. She has the drive
to keep pushing herself to be the best that she can be.
Tumble - Meadow Folse: Meadow has shown constant
determination since she has enrolled. Each week she
strives to master a new skill and is always ready to learn
something new.

WSA GRAND NATIONALS
On Saturday and Sunday of March 19th and 20th, our all-star teams
competed at one of the biggest competitions held
in southern Louisiana. WSA Grand Nationals
catered to a whopping 300+ team with two
venues simultaneously running. This
competition included teams from all over the
country such as Texas, Arizona, Georgia,
Maryland and Florida.
Spark stole the floor with their great energy
earning them a 2nd place win! Ignite and Flame
battled against some tough teams and came out both days with zero
deductions. Both teams received 2nd place against
almost ten teams each! Blaze and Inferno also
dominated the mat with zero deduction routines
earning them second places as well. Finally Vortex
put on an amazing performance going against some
of the best in the industry. Awesome job LA Sports
Gym!
Join us in New Orleans on April 9th and 10th as
our teams compete for an opportunity to attend the
Summit in Tampa, Florida. Try outs for our all star
teams will be held May 7th.
