The Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show Benefits These Local Non-Profit Organizations:

The trucking industry makes the day-to-day happenings of our lives possible - from the food we buy at the grocery
stores to the clothes on our backs from the mall to the materials our homes are made of and so much more. The Eau
Claire Big Rig Truck Show is an event designed to bring together people of all ages and expose those who would
otherwise not have an opportunity to see the world of trucking. It is free to the public and showcases the Chippewa
Valley to many in the industry who have not previously had a reason to visit. Increased visitors bring increased local
revenues and promotes a better economy which benefits everyone.
The Inaugural Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show brought in 6,000 visitors
and over 50 trucks competing. 2011 anticipates 15,000-20,000 visitors
and more than 200 trucks competing. The new location at Chippewa
Valley Technical College will accommodate our growth and allow us to
park upwards of 700 trucks.
The Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show really belongs to everyone involved from the participants and the sponsors
and vendors, to the organizers and the volunteers. To reach its full potential the promotion of this event needs to be
carried out all year long through the selling of merchandise, promotional items, the website, and even continued
word-of-mouth. It is our goal that ECBRTS becomes a staple event in the area, one that people can plan on attending every year. ECBRTS will have exhibitor tents and several outdoor exhibitor areas. The public will be invited to
view the trucks, talk with the drivers and take photographs. Admission is FREE. Food vendors will be conveniently

The MeRV (Medical Education
Resource Vehicle) is a 37-feet long
medical unit for truckers. Safety First
Sleep Solutions (SFSS) operates the
MeRV in partnership with the St. Christopher
Truckers Development
and Relief Fund. It will be
on hand to offer free
medical evaluations.

Q: Who is the National Association of Trucks (NAST)?
A: NAST (www.NastShowTrucks.org) is a non-profit organization which originated
16 years ago. It is operated by individuals that are elected from their corporate and
associate memberships, all of which are involved in the trucking industry. Members
attend NAST sponsored truck shows in the U.S. and accumulate points for winning in
different categories. Those with the highest scores are then allowed to compete in the
“granddaddy” of truck shows - “The Mid America Truck Show” in Louisville, Kentucky.
NAST trucks are generally working show trucks that are usually a few years old. Although
NAST trucks may have thousand dollar paint jobs, interiors with solid wood floors and
sleepers that rival million dollar homes, the vast majority of the NAST group will be
picking up or delivering a load the day after the show and going back to work as usual.
Q: Who is Photo Card Specialists, Inc. (PCS)?
A: Photo Card Specialists, Inc. (www.PhotoCardSpec.com) is a Wisconsin based
corporation (incorporated in 1986), who specializes in the designing and printing
of photographic business products for the transportation industry. Additionally,
Photo Card Specialists, Inc. has professional photographers and support staff who
promote and assist in the production of other truck shows in the U.S. An example is
the American Truck Historical Society (ATHS). In May of 2010, ATHS held its national
convention and truck show in San Ramon, California at the Alameda County Fairgrounds
(see inest to the right). According to Bill Johnson, the Executive Director for ATHS, the
California show brought in between 15,000 and 20,000 visitors and between 3 to 3.5
million dollars into the local economy. Visit www.aths.org for additional information.

(ATHS) convention and truck show in Pleasanton, California. Photo Card Specialists, Inc.
(PCS, Inc.) has been assisting in the organization and production of this event for over 13
years. PCS, Inc. will be at the 2011 convention
in West Bend, Indiana greeting, numbering,
and photographing every antique truck that
arrives. A personal invitation will be extended
to each ATHS participant to bring their truck
to ECBRTS in Eau Claire, Wisconsin in August.
Q: Does NAST have other shows?
A: Yes. There are five other NAST shows in the United States: Fort Worth, Texas; Dundee, Michigan; St. Ignace, Michigan; Miami, Florida;
and Louisville, Kentucky. Once selected, the NAST show will stay in one location for an indefinate period of time.
Q: Does an individual who brings his/her truck make any money for showing that truck?
A: They are definitely not in it for the money. A first place winner in any of the categories will receive a large trophy, a small amount of
cash, and a Thank You gift. As most truck or fleet owners will tell you, they just do it because it’s in their blood. It is much like showing a
classic car, small pickup, or even a farm animal. They are proud of what they are showing and enjoy showing it to others. The only
difference is that what they show is 75 feet long and may weigh 80,000 pounds and may cost $500,000.
Q: Why is Photo Card Specialists Inc. co-hosting the Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show?
A: Eau Claire knows PCS, Inc. as Awards and More, an awards and recognition company. PCS, Inc. is the parent company and
is a full color printing and graphic design company. They have been producing promotional business products for the trucking and towing industries since 1986. Many of these customers have become their friends. It is our pleasure to showcase Eau Claire to our trucking
customer base. This event is our way to show our appreciation to the industry and to bring something unique to the Chippewa Valley for
all to enjoy.

Eau Claire Big Rig Truck Show Trophy Sponsor
$2,500 – Over 140 trophies are given out at most NAST events. The Trophy Sponsor will have their full-color logo on each trophy in a prime
location. The sponsors name will also be announced during the award presentation and have a full color sign in front of the trophies.
Light Show Trophy Sponsor (Friday Night)
$1,000 – Trophies will be given to the top four winners. Trophies will feature full-color sponsors logo in a prime location. A sign with the sponsor’s logo will be placed next to the trophies and announcements of sponsors of name during show and awards cermony.

$1,000 per night or $500 for half sponsorship per night. One movie on the Red Giant Jumbotron with popcorn Friday and one movie with
