Headband Version
HEAR AND BE HEARD THE FIRST TIME...
The HTH or Hi-Threat Headset is specifically designed to meet the demands and intensity of Tier 1 operators and special
operations teams. For over a decade the HTH continues to be one of our most popular dual ear boom headsets.
TEA offers the HTH in both a Headband (as shown) and Neckband Version. Single and Dual Down Lead versions available
The HTH features Combat Noise Suppression technology that protects the operator’s hearing against damaging
noises they’re exposed to during combat. In addition to providing certified hearing protection the HTH has adjustable
and amplified electronic hearing that allows operators to maintain 360° battlefield awareness. Hear-thru audio can
be easily adjusted using the HTH’s simple 3-button controls located on the left ear cup.
Our Tier 1 version of the HTH also includes a ballistic and submersible boom microphone or noise canceling version
that can provide compatibility on multiple communication platforms such as 2-way radios or vehicle/aircraft/watercraft ICS.

Neckband Version
LOW PROFILE HEADBAND
The HTH headband features a removable nylon cover that integrates the
cable with the headband frame. This cover has an inner cushion for added
comfort against the head, which is a breathable material to reduce hot spots.
This cover allows you to easily convert back to using the headband after using
our rail mounts. The headband cover is manufactured within the US and is
Berry compliant.
SMART POWER USE: The HTH has an AUTO-OFF
feature that turns off hear-thru after 4 hrs of inactivity.
2 AAA batteries provide 600 hrs of use.
HEADBAND OR HELMET?
The Hi-Threat Tier 1 Headset provides users the
broadest compatibility with new and legacy helmets
on the market. The new slim headband design
allows for standalone use, wear underneath
helmets and can easily be removed and replaced with an adapter for mounting to rail on
helmets.

that cover most major helmet brands as well
as conversion kits that convert legacy neckband headsets to headband/helmet mounted.

HI-THREAT TIER 1 Tactical HAZMAT Communication Kit
The TEA TACTICAL HAZMAT COMMUNICATION KIT was developed to provide special response teams an easy to
use and budget friendly headset system that is worn over their HAZMAT suite and integrates into their protection
mask and tactical gear. This system provides operators hearing protection, enhanced electronic hear-thru
and clear radio communication when responding to hazardous chemical and biological threats.

The TEA HI-THREAT Headset (HTH) provides certified hearing
protection as well as enhanced and amplified situational awareness.
Since voice communications are relayed through the mask this version
doesn’t include a boom arm microphone. High quality speakers deliver
natural and clear hear-thru and radio receive sound even through
the thick hoods of HAZMAT suites. Hear-thru audio can be adjusted
using the simple 3 button controls found on the left ear cup. These
controls can be easily accessed when wearing thick gloves.
TEA also offers adapters that allow you to mount the HTH
directly to the rails of your ballistic helmet
TEA Mask Microphone Cable
This rugged cable plugs directly into the 2 pin input port located on the mask
microphone assembly and the other end integrates into the AUX INPUT PORT
on the TEA U94 Push-to-Talk Switch. This cable allows you to transmit (Tx) on
your connected radio. The standard cable length is 16”.
TEA Headset Audio Cable
The Headset Cable’s 3.5mm connection plugs into the 3.5mm input located
on the back of the left ear cup of the HI-THREAT Hearing Protection Headset.
The other end of the cable plugs in to the Tactical U94 Push-to-Talk. This
cable enables you to hear radio receive (Rx) communications through the
headset. The standard cable length is 16”.
TEA Tactical U94 Push-to-Talk Switch - w/ Aux Input
TEA’s U94 rugged and contoured design allow it to be easily accommodated onto almost any type of vest or uniform and features a removable
back clip that allows for right or left side wear.
This version of the U94 includes a rugged auxiliary input port that integrates
the mask microphone into your radio via the MASK MIC CABLE.

The new Rail Attached Communications (RAC) headset from Ops-Core® revolutionizes soldier
communications by seamlessly integrating low profile rail-mounted design with true 3D hearing
technology (3DHT), not yet seen in military COMMs systems. Designed as an integral component
of the Ops-Core® helmet system, the RAC Headset integrates with other helmet components
for optimal system level performance. This, together with its advanced 3D HT and other

Advanced Hear-Thru Audio Controls
The RAC has easy to locate situational audio
controls on the left ear cup. This allows for
on the fly volume adjustments to your hearthru audio as well as switch audio output between
the ear cup or the option Inductance Ear Buds. The
RAC has a patented ear simulator design paired with
an advanced audio processing DSP that delivers high
quality audio and provides accurate 360° situational
awareness.

additional Ear Buds that can be worn under
the ear cups. This version of the RAC
has coils embedded into the ear cups
that drive high quality audio into the Receiver
Ear Buds via Near Field Magnetic Induction. This

The RAC attaches to the rear of the FAST Slide Rails leaving the top portion
of the rails free for other mounting accessories, such as lights or cameras.
The RAC’s unique articulation arms and latch release ensure the
highest level of headset security even when hit with objects.
Ergonomically designed, the RAC provides superior comfort
with features like the contoured ear cushions.
Single Point Gimbal Attachment
The single attachment point to the RAC’s ear cups
allows the headset to pivot and automatically position
over the ear to create a strong but comfortable seal
against the head.
Removable/Ambidextrous N/C Boom Microphone
The RAC’s submersible noise canceling boom microphone was developed
to provide the best possible performance in extreme noise and harsh
climates and environments. This boom can be installed on either the
right or left side or removed to allow the use of an auxiliary
O2 cable for military free fall applications.

TEA U94 PTT Overview: The U94 PTT from TEA is one of the most rugged and popular single radio push-to-talk switch on the market. Compatible with a wide range

Maritime PTT Cover: This unique cover allows you to
discretely key up on land but rigid enough to ensure the

U94 Dual and Custom Customizable PTT Solutions
TEA Dual U94 PTT Overview: The Dual U94 PTT can be configured into a wide variety of options and capabilities. This version of
the U94 gives you the ability to connect and communicate on 2 different devices. The Dual U94 includes the same features and capabilites of the single radio U94 but has a secondary PTT button and a second cable down lead.
Dual U94 Configurations: The possibilities of Dual U94 configurations are endless,
but here is a list of some of the more common configurations we have developed.

RADIO + RADIO: This configurations allows you to connect and communicate
of 2 radios simultaneously. Cable lengths can be customized to accommodate where
your radios will be located on your load out.
RADIO + ICS: This configurations allows you to connect to a primary radio on
COM1 and a vehicle/aircraft/watercraft ICS on COM2. For this configuration PTT2
can be removed and wired as a pass through for connecting to on-board PTT’s.
RADIO + PHONE: This configurations allows you to connect to a primary radio on

Similar to the single radio version the Dual U94
can be configured with an auxiliary input for the
use of secondary devices/remote PTT’s. When
a remote PTT is connected it will key the device
connected to COM1/PTT1.

a US Army PSD. This version of the U94 has
an AP107 connector that connects into the VIC3
ICS when mounted and a lower assembly that’s
connected to the PRC 148/152 radio for use
unmounted.

This universal maritime push-to-talk has
the ability to adapt to a suite of headsets
and lower radio cables. Originally designed
for elite special forces, this PTT’s performance
has been proven during the most intense combat
situations in recent history. This is one of TEA’s
finest example of capability and compatibility.
The D-Switch helped set the standard in durability
and simplicity when it comes to PTT’s. This rugged
circular PTT is perfect for Tactical Law Enforcement
Team, Fire Rescue and HAZMAT Teams. The DSwitch has a removable protection ring that when
on helps prevent accidental radio keys (hot-mic) and
an auxiliary input for Remote PTT’s.

PTT has a fully sealed enclosure and can be
configured with hardwired radio cabling, a
hardwired headset or a maritime headset
socket can be added. The PTT can also
be configured to be a push button or toggle.
The Dual-Com E-Switch is a highly customizable
platform to meet the need dual radio or dual device
applications. The Dual E-Switch can be configured
to work with standard or dual net radios as well as
vehicle/aircraft/watercraft ICS. The PTT can also
be configured to be a push button or toggle.
An auxiliary input port can also be added for connection to remote switches or O2 microphone cables.
