In each issue we’d like you to meet members of our Nova Beauty family … and yours!
Cat Campbell
spent over 20 years working in
administration, marketing and sales for both large and small
companies. Desiring a career change, she focused on her
interest in health, beauty, and wellness, which led her to the
cosmetology industry. Cat obtained her Esthetics certification
in 2005 and has worked as an Esthetician, Educator, and
Consultant ever since. Cat regularly takes professional
development classes to keep her skills and knowledge up
to date. It’s a rewarding payoff for doing what she loves.
Teaching is Cat's passion. She has taught adult education
classes for over 20 years. She believes that being an educator
not only helps others, but is also the best way to continue
learning and perfecting her own skills. In an industry full of
change, Cat is happy to take her own advice to “never stop
learning.” With her love for esthetics and her desire for
sharing knowledge and experiences, Cat is committed to
providing a higher level of self-confidence for every student.
Her goal is to raise the professional standard. Cat enjoys
playing a small part in the professional growth of others.
Monique Westwood recently re-located
from our Victoria Showroom to manage our
Nova Beauty Nanaimo location. She has worked
for many years in different departments of the
family business with the exception to the times
she has been traveling abroad. Monique loves to
ride horses, cook, snowboard and when not
working you will find her at the barn with her

Gillian Gray
arrived in Canada in 1989 and was fortunate to land a position with a professional hair care
company as their Sales/Account Representative for upper Vancouver Island. So her love affair began not only with
this beautiful Island but with the "Beauty Industry". Most recently employed at V.I.U. as the Front End Salon Assistant
in the Hairdressing Department, Gill now is an integral part of our bustling Nanaimo store.
