With a near 20 year relationship with the global phenomenon Riverdance he pioneered the
development of western entertainment in China, Taiwan and Korea and went on to present
Riverdance through this region with 17 tours and well over a million tickets for this event sold
alone.
Garry’s long standing relationship with clients such as Riverdance, AC/DC, Mark Knopfler and
Bette Midler are testament to his ability to continually deliver results for artists and managers.
With clients that are a veritable who’s who of the entertainment industry and having produced
in excess of 100 different individual tours, few promoters in this region can claim the ability to
tour across multiple markets and diversity of shows Garry has produced and promoted.
JORGE PINOS
Jorge has been part of the music industry for the past 32 years and in
that time has become a legend and a well-respected name in the
international industry.
After 24 years with the William Morris agency as a senior vice-president,
Jorge decided to open his own company, JEP Entertainment Group, Inc, in
April 2005. Jorge’s vision is to be able to branch out into different fields
of the entertainment industry and continue to help his clients break into
new territories within the United States and internationally.
He was the first agent to book Latin international artists into mainstream American venues and
his current clients include such chart-toppers as Roberto Carlos, Raphael, Albert Hammond, José
Luis Rodriguez, Billy Ocean, Christopher Cross, Maxi Priest, Paul Anka, Huey Dunbar, Emmanuel,
Paquita La Del Barrio, Charlie Aaa, and Conjunto Primavera. Other current projects Jorge is
involved in, include the US representation of one of the biggest promoters in Australia, Van
Egmond Group, who joined forces with Pinos in mid 2013 with the plan of using his expertise in
concert bookings and bringing A-list artists into the territory.
CHRISTO VAN EGMOND
Christo has over fifteen years experience in the sports and entertainment
industries. Currently Christo oversees all commercial activities for the Van
Egmond Group with its clients and partners that include; venues, ticketing
companies, marketing and sponsorship companies and other key
stakeholders.
Christo is also responsible for the development of the business, identifying
projects and working with various project partners to deliver results.
Prior to this, Christo worked in the Sports Television and Marketing industry and was involved with
the acquisition and sale of significant TV and new media rights such as, the US Masters Golf, FIM
MotoGP, World Superbike Series, FIM Motocross & Supermoto, along with representing a number
of significant Australian sporting federation’s media, sponsorship and merchandising rights. Prior
to this Christo worked with IMG (International Management Group) Australia.
Christo Van Egmond holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and is a Fellow of the Australian
Marketing Institute and Certified Practicing Marketer (CPM).
ANT HAMPEL
Ant Hampel is a specialist in live concert, theatrical and entertainment
marketing with 25 years of local and international experience. Ant started
out his career in Australian radio and then at KISS100 London as special
events and concerts manager, working with artists like Jamiroquai,
Massive Attack, M People, Roy Ayers, Des’ree and Herbie Hancock.
Ant has been tour-marketing director on countless Van Egmond Group
productions including; Prince Welcome 2 AUS tour 2012, AC/DC,
Riverdance, Jesus Christ Superstar and the Michael Jackson History Tour.
In 2009, Ant worked on Sound Relief, the largest concert in Australian history. The benefit
concert, which ran simultaneously in both Melbourne and Sydney, included Coldplay, John
Farnham, Midnight Oil, Kylie Minogue, Bliss n Esso, Split Enz and Kings Of Leon amongst
countless others. $8m AUD was raised to provide relief. Ant’s experience enables him to speak
with audiences of all ages and all tastes. Integral to delivering the results is his ability to develop
and manage all elements of show communications and marketing. From strategy, planning and
budgeting through to creative, production management and channel planning, Ant Hampel
delivers results that equal sell out shows.
