CORAL GABLES
Tree-lined boulevards, fountains, and winding roadways give Coral Gables, Florida
its identity as "The City Beautiful." Coral Gables' giant swooping banyan trees and
wide-open streets make it one of the most desirable and old-fashioned
neighborhoods in the area. In fact, Coral Gables didn't evolve organically like much
of Miami; George Edgar Merrick planned it in the 1920s. Shoppers flock to fine
boutiques and specialty stores along Coral Gables' Miracle Mile. Coral Gables
restaurants appear on the culinary map for a variety of cuisines.

HAVE a MOJITO at BALL and CHAIN in LITTLE HAVANA

Except this place is real. An odd historic spot in Miami that hasn’t been
bulldozed for condos, this Calle Ocho club saw the likes of Billie Holiday, Duke
Ellington, and Louie Armstrong, as the posters from its heyday that now line the
walls will attest. Excerpt courtesy of Thrillist.com

This Calle Ocho gem serves up some serious Miami flare with catchy names
