What’s camp all about?
At Get Connected! Camp we talk about important stuff like faith and friends and what it
looks like to navigate God’s world in a way that honors Him. Through chapels, worship
time, games, activities, and conversations with a TLC (counselor)—we’ll dive into God’s
Word and explore a different theme together each day. And, of course, we’ll have a ton
of fun!
Who can come to camp?
Anyone who has been in a GEMS Club for at least one year and has completed
grade 6, 7, or 8 by June 2016 is eligible. Unfortunately, space is limited, so mail your
registration as early as possible to guarantee a spot! Registration opens January 3, 2016.
Registrations are treated on a first-come, first-served basis.
You are going to make a lot of new friends at camp, so bringing a friend is not
necessary! But, campers who wish to identify one girl as a roommate can do so on their
registration form.
What does it cost?
The cost for six days and five nights of camp with all lodging, food, a t-shirt, and a
special keepsake DVD is $430 CAD.
Many clubs fundraise to help send girls to camp, and many churches offer partial or full
financial support. Please check to see what is available in your area!
Dear Parents,
Making the commitment to send your daughter to camp is
huge! You want to be sure she is going to be safe, have lots of
fun, and have positive influences all around her.
We get that. And we want those things, too!
We’ve spent countless hours praying, planning, and creating
the programming for Get Connected! Camp. At camp—away
from the noise and commotion of everyday life—girls get a
chance to experience the transforming power of God’s Word.
Throughout the week we strive to:
• encourage girls to grow deeper relationships—with
God, with their families, with their friends, and with
everyone else!
• equip girls to make wise choices in everyday life.
• inspire girls to live out their true identity as beautiful
daughters of the King of kings!
We understand junior high girls, and we intentionally designed
Get Connected! Camp to speak to their hearts. Year after year we
receive letters from parents witnessing to the changes in their
daughters. Our deep desire is to help every girl learn how to
walk humbly with her Creator—for the rest of her life.

unforgettable experience!
