Starting in September, Grammy Award-winning guitarist Steve Vai kicks off the US leg of
his Sound Theories tour. This time out, Steve requested that Carvin install special grill cloth
on each cabinet of his custom Legacy stage rig. Steve also worked with Carvin’s engineering
department to design a custom guitar cab floor monitor. Now, he can monitor his amp without relying on the house sound system. His new floor monitor features 3 Celestion Vintage

are a host of features that separate it from the competition. Offering premium
components housed in lightweight, rugged Polypropylene injection-molded enclosures that maintain their appearance through years of torturous use, the LM Series
are 2-way designs featuring lightweight, high efficiency neodymium drivers and a
wide dispersion, asymmetrical high frequency horn for maximum coverage. Carvin’s
exclusive enclosure design facilitates both vertical and horizontal orientation—making them great for either PA mains or monitor wedges. Equipped with pole cups and
