The SOLJET PRO 4 XR-640 is Roland DG’s most advanced
printer/cutter ever. You can trust its exceptional print quality,
versatility and efficiency and leave your competitors in the
dust. The XR-640 is purpose built for production printing with
a dual inline print head configuration that yields outstanding
image quality at high printing speeds. The machine features
ECO-SOL MAX2. The ink is available in nine colours,
including white (Wh), metallic silver (Mt) and light black (Lk).
Light black ensures a neutral grey for smooth grey scale
gradations, natural skin tones and precise photographic
images.
The VersaSTUDIO BN-20 allows everyone to create signs.
This printer fits perfectly on any desk and is attractively
priced. The device has a printing and cutting width of 48cm,
which is ideal for heat transfers, stickers, labels and posters.
You can choose from two ink types. Eco-solvent ink is
perfect for outdoor applications. This ink is also available in

Feel the colour
The VersaUV LEC-540 (137cm) and LEC-330 (76cm) are
LED UV-inkjet printers/cutters. The machines are extremely
versatile and add form, texture and dimension to prints.
They print CMYK, white and clear coat (matt or glossy). This
combination allows you to create special effects or add a
luxurious finish to customized graphics. You can use the
machines to make realistic proofs, packaging prototypes
and small series of extraordinary labels. The machines print
on a broad range of media, including standard sign media,
paper, synthetic and real leather, textiles, vinyl, BOPP, PE and
PET film. Moreover, the LEC-540 features a table that allows

SOLJET PRO II V SJ-1045EX
Hi-Fi EXPRESS FP-740
The 2.6m wide SOLJET PRO II SJ-1045EX produces
beautiful billboards and banners. Thanks to the high print
speeds, large high-quality print jobs are completed in
no time. The machine works with ECO-SOL MAX inks
and is available in two ink configurations (CCMMYK and
CMYKLcLm). The SJ-1045EX is often used in the sublimation
market as well.
The Hi-Fi Express FP-740 was especially developed for the
sublimation market and is as easy to use and maintain as
other Roland machines. The FP-740 has a printing width of
187cm and is equipped with eight print heads (CCMMYYKK)
in staggered position. The productivity is very high thanks
to this line-up. The rigid construction, the flexibility in
possible configurations and the impressive maximum print
speed of 51m²/h make the FP-740 ideal for large (four
colour) production runs, like sportswear. Other examples
of applications are flags, banners and sublimation on plate
material like aluminium.

media width of 163cm and uses ECO-SOL MAX2 ink in four
colours (CMYK). The printer is equipped with a new take-up
system that rolls your prints quickly and carefully.

VersaUV LEF-20 and LEF-12
Personalize objects quickly and inexpensively
Use the VersaUV LEF series to print directly on an infinite
range of materials and objects with a thickness of up to
10 cm. Examples are gadgets, gift items and prototypes.
The LEF printers feature six ink colours, including white
and clear ink. You can use the clear ink to give your prints
a glossy or matt finish or to create textures. Integrated
LED lamps cure the ink. Two models of the LEF series are
available. The LEF-12 is our entry level model, available
at a very attractive price. The LEF-20 is our high speed
production model, with a 508 by 330 cm footprint.
VersaArt RE-640
Think Art
The VersaArt RE-640 large format printer is perfectly suited
for entrants to the printing segment and for companies
that want to start with in-house production of promotional
material and other print jobs. The RE-640 is equipped to
print in four colours and offers superb print quality and high
productivity at an affordable price. You can use the RE-640
to make superb posters, outdoor signs, banners, textile
prints and high-quality proofs. You use the printer with
ECO-SOL MAX inks.
VersaUV LEJ-640
UV printer for rigid materials and rolls
The VersaUV LEJ-640 is a 163 cm-wide UV printer that
can print on rigid materials and on rolls. Maximum material
thickness is 1.3 cm. The built-in LED lamps cure the ink.
No heat is released in the process, so you can even print on
heat-sensitive materials. The standard LEJ-640 is delivered
with a table unit that is easy to remove. Use the LEJ-640
for your packaging prototypes, displays, billboards and
other signs. The ink is instantly dry, so you can finish
the prints direct.

Easy-to-use desktop cutters for each organisation
Professional cutting plotters for a wide range of applications
The STIKA series comprises three user-friendly cutters that
fit on any desk and worktable. Thanks to the excellent price/
quality ratio, anyone can cut out stickers, textile transfers
and signs. The STIKA can also cut films printed by your
A4 printer. You can do this by placing crop marks on your
printout. The CutStudio software provided can split up larger
designs, so that you can easily cut larger designs as well.
The SV series is available in three models with cutting widths
of 16cm, 25cm and 34cm.
The CAMM-1 PRO series is extremely reliable, versatile
and easy to use. The plotters rapidly cut vehicle graphics,
protection foils, window tint, signs and stencils with high
precision. Since the cutters recognize crop marks optically,
you can load your own prints in the plotters and cut them in
great detail. This way, you can make professional car wraps
and heat transfers for promotional textile. The CAMM-1 PRO
series is available in four models: the GX-300 (cutting width
of 73.7cm), the GX-400 (100cm), the GX-500 (119.5cm) and
the GX-640 (162.6cm).

CUTTING PLOTTERS
The GX-24 is a semi-professional cutting plotter, which is
popular with starting signmakers and companies that do
their own cutting. Examples are textile companies (cutting
flock and flex) and hospitals (making their own signs). The
GX-24 has a cutting width of 58.4cm. The device is very
easy to use and detects crop marks automatically. Vehicle
graphics, flock, flex, signs, decals, stencils and even very
thin lines are cut perfectly. The GX-24 is a desktop machine,
which can also be installed on a stand.

ECO-SOL MAX is Roland DG’s
award-winning ink. The eco solvent ink
has a short drying time, good scratch
resistance, high density, wide colour
gamut, broad media support and low
cost per square meter. ECO-SOL MAX
is virtually odour free, which makes a
special ventilation system superfluous.
The ink is durable up to three years
outdoors without lamination and
is available in six standard colours
(CMYKLcLm). A white and metallic
silver version of the ink is also available.
The ink is delivered in no-mess ink
cartridges and guarantees trouble-free
printing.
ECO-SOL MAX2 is the latest generation
of eco-solvent ink. The ink recently won
the EDP Award and scores very high
in all relevant areas: outdoor durability,
scratch resistance, chemical resistance,
and colour range. In addition, the ink
is compatible with the most extensive
range of print media in the market. With
its new composition, the ink creates
even sharper images. The opacity of
the white ink is significantly higher and
the metallic ink contains more reflective
pigments. ECO-SOL MAX2 is also
available in a new ink colour: light black.
High-grade VersaWorks
software is included
The HeatWave sublimation inks
produce beautiful prints on different
kinds of textile, which is ideal for the
production of colourful flags, decoration
material and banners. The ink delivers
rich colours with a high density.
Moreover, the ink dries optimally,
which guarantees perfect ink transfer
on different materials (textiles and
aluminium). The HeatWave SBL2 ink
was developed especially for use with
the BU ink system and is delivered in
1 litre bottles.
The current water based pigment
inks (FPG) have a larger colour gamut
than ever before. Thanks to the new
composition, they produce beautiful
prints on more types of media. The inks
are available in four colours (CMYK) and
are delivered in 220cc cartridges. The
inks are ideal for indoor applications and
art printing.
ECO-UV is a flexible UV ink, which is
available in six colours (CMYK + White
+ Gloss). This ink can print on a virtually
unlimited range of media, including
heat-sensitive materials such as shrink
wrap. ECO-UV S is the stretchable UV
ink from Roland DG. The ink can be
stretched up to 220% and is available in
five colours (CMYK + White).
All Roland printers and integrated
printers/cutters are supplied with
VersaWorks software. This is a powerful
RIP software with features such as
Roland Color (our exclusive spot colour
system), MAX Impact Presets for richer
colour contrast, the option of printing
variable data, and of adjusting the ink
level. The software supports Roland
Intelligent Pass Control technology
for superb print quality, even at high
speeds. Furthermore, the software
includes a wide range of layout, editing
and printing functions such as nesting,
tiling, cropping, scaling and serial
production.
VersaWorks supports the use of the
PANTONE colour library. PANTONE
spot colours are automatically
converted to a CMYK value and then
precisely linked to a colour within the
ECO-SOL MAX ink range. This workflow
greatly simplifies the search for the right
colour.
VersaWorks is compatible with
Windows 2000, XP, Vista, 7 and 8.
You can use the software with popular
design programs such as Adobe
Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and
CorelDRAW. Roland@NET guarantees
you free and automatic access to
the latest software versions and
ICC profiles. VersaWorks is built on
the Adobe PostScript CPSI RIP engine.

VersaWorks allows a single computer to
control up to four Roland devices. The
software also supports GX cutters. A GX
