Blenders presents A SPECIAL CONCERT with
An Acoustic Evening with
BIG SUGAR
Market Square Chess
The five piece band is best known for mixing
clawhammer banjo riffs with ambient synth, high
voltage guitar, fierce drums, and hauntingly sweet
vocal harmonies to produce a sound that has
been properly coined “Stoke Folk.” Shred Kelly is
turning banjo doubters into sweaty indie folk rock
believers on the dance floor, one town at a time.

A Swift Current History of Visual Art
An exhibition of artworks surveying the artists who have shown here
over the past 40 years. This last exhibition of the centennial year
allows us to reflect on the legacy created by past exhibition artists,
whose contributions inspired our vibrant art community.
Free Group Tours available. Call gallery staff at 306-778-2736.
Trying to nail down the disparate genres explored
by the Wooden Sky isn't an easy task. When
pressed, the band tosses out tags like "folk rock",
but the words don't hint at the nuances. They
push the limits of folk and country, adding pieces
of outside influence and slowly growing their own
unique sonic aesthetic.

The five piece band is best known for mixing
clawhammer banjo riffs with ambient synth, high

turning banjo doubters into sweaty indie folk rock
believers on the dance floor, one town at a time.
