Northern Indiana Tourism Development Commission (NITDC) is a regional partnership
of seven Northern Indiana Convention and Visitors Bureaus. NITDC works in
cooperation with the Indiana Toll Road, the Indiana Office of Tourism Development,
and with local businesses to increase tourism spending in the northern Indiana
region.
Using consumer research and professional marketing expertise, NITDC develops
an integrated cooperative marketing and advertising program annually allowing for
partnership with the region’s tourism businesses, attractions, and select corporate
partners.
Members of NITDC are the official destination marketing organizations
from Elkhart County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kosciusko County Convention
and Visitors Bureau, LaGrange County Convention and Visitors Bureau, Michigan
City/LaPorte (LaPorte County) Convention and Visitors Bureau, Marshall County
Convention and Visitors Bureau, Porter County Convention and Visitors Bureau, and
South Bend/Mishawaka Convention and Visitors Bureau.
